Wow, those are bold statements my friend Steve.
I don't think Marion will be able to elevate the Mavericks to 3rd place in the standings - I personally think he is overrated and his best days were on Phoenix and Phoenix alone.

And with Stephen Jackson possibly being traded, you think Warriors could still hold on to 6th place?

Also, I think that as long as the Hornets have Chris Paul, they will be a top 8 team (but with a crap bench, they won't go far in the playoffs.

I agree with you about Phoenix though; they are going to have a horrible season this year. They do not have a strong enough roster to be a top 8 team in the West.

Not really a fail considering some did actually believe that the Suns were incapable of making playoffs prior to the start of the season.

But it's more likely a team from the East will win the Championship than a West team.

The Cavs fail to show up every year in the playoffs (except for Lebron), the Celtics are freefalling, and I just don't feel the Hawks...

The Magic are the only legitimate title contenders I see coming out of the East.

Boston: KG is getting injured a lot and Pierce might have a broken foot (although even if he didn't losing KG would probably take you out of the Finals)

And just look outside of championships, after Atlanta, who's your best team? Chicago...

I think Cleveland has a better chance of winning over Orlando.

VC is a chucker and Pietrus is hot and cold...sorry, but I think Atlanta has a better chance of winning in the finals over Orlando...

Celtic's are healthy now (unless something happens with pierce) and just ain't 100% rdy.
W8 for Marquis to come back and Glen Davis be 100% and this team have chances for the Title.
