| The Thunder have a REALLY bright future...
While the best players on the Lakers (Kobe, Artest, Gasol, Odom, Fisher) are old/getting old...

| I think the west needs to watch out for portland... Roy is an amazing perimeter player (top 5 wing player) Aldridge is can be an all star PF Oden...might do good Miller is a sweet pg They got great role players And they were 4th seed last year...with tht experience they will do better | |

| No. The Bobcats are the Laker killers. They swept them last season. | |

| 1 Lakers 2 Spurs 3 Nuggets 4 Blazers 5 Mavericks 6 Jazz 7 Hornets 8 Suns (assuming Amar'e stays)
If SJax stays in GS, or they get someone good for him via trade, the W's will contend for that 8 spot. |

Pre-season Top 8.
I think Golden State is going to let a lot of people down this upcoming season. The Clippers are closer to that 8 spot thatn GSW is.

| 1. Lakers 2. Portland 3. Dallas (I think Marion is going to be his old self) 4. San Antonio (I don't think they can stay healthy) 5. Nuggets 6. Warriors (I like their depth, and their ability to shoot from outside) 7. Clippers 8. Thunder
I absolutely do not think the Hornets or Suns will make the playoffs.

| My predictions may be out there, but I think its gonna happen.
I think this is the year Brandon Roy breaks out and we consider him at the same level as Kobe, Wade, and Lebron. He is also my pick for MVP, lol.
My projection on Roy's Stats: 28.6 Pts 6.8 Rbs 7.0 Ast
Lamarcus Aldridge: 20.9 Pts 11.2 Rbs 3.2 Ast
Andre Miller: (Totally forgotten about) 13.2 Pts 4.9 Rbs 11.9 Ast
I think Miller will have a huge year on a team with accomplished scorers like Roy and Aldridge. He has never been a PG on a healthy team with multiple weapons before, and that should scare people.
As to the Nuggets, I think beyond Billups and Melo they need an extra piece. Smith is on and off, Nene and Martin have health problems, and Chris Andersen is not reliable at all. If they are healthy come playoff time they can do some damage, but I see them dealing with alot of issues this season.
Phoenix I just hate as a team. Amare has a bad attitude, Richardson has a bad attitude, and beyond Nash they have NOTHING else.
