So What are some reasons the LAKERS WILL NOT REPEAT THIS YEAR!

I can respect your opinion but i want to know why they will not repeat.

Honestly, I think the Blazers, and Thunder will finish ahead of the Lakers this year...the Lakers are old as hell, and the Thunder have the most talented team in the NBA. They were too young last year, and didn't know how to win. We all know about the Blazers..The Lakers will struggle to win 47 games this year.....

Just simple keys Lakers - Stay Healthy, consistent D fense... better Consistent bench and if they can handle the PG position with Fisher[ my love ha] Farmar and Brown, and see how they handle LO , Bynum and Gasol rotation

I'm not impressed with Richard Jefferson. He's good on up tempo teams (NJ) or teams that suck (MIL). Spurs are anything but up tempo and they don't suck.

The Lakers aren't old as hell..

Derek Fisher is getting old...but he is still very capable of playing his role...
That is...stand beyond the 3pt line....and get open..

Kobe has a lot of miles left....but this isn't the NFL where the player suddenly breaks down..
Kobe might (or might not) take a step...but it won't be drastic enough for them to not get back to the finals...

Ron Artest is only 29 yrs old...enough said..
Gasol is only 29 yrs old...enough said..
Bynum is 21 yrs old....ehh..

The bench is still very young with room for improvement..


Now as far as the Blazers go....
They are a huge threat to the Lakers...but they can't seem to beat the Lakers on our court...
But for them to be a legitimate threat...Roy needs to take his level to the superstar level...and Oden needs to start dominating defensively...

The Thunder are far far away from being a threat to the Lakers....
They have tons of talent and potential...
But they don't nearly have the experience to beat the Lakers...
And besides...they have no inside game....and you know you can't win a championship without one...

Artest Vs. Kobe was essentially that, except with a little less severity.
