So What are some reasons the LAKERS WILL NOT REPEAT THIS YEAR!

I'm not even talking about the Lakers as a whole right now. Just Kobe. I'm just saying that with this cast around him, his FG % should definitely jump near 50% and his assists should jump up as well. The thing is, I don't see either happening because Kobe is still gonna be Kobe and take bad/dumb shots and try to prove he is the best player in the NBA still by doing so.

Roy had to run the point alot last year with Blake being average at best and Bayless clearly not ready for the NBA. Having Miller there will set up Roy to score and get more boards, while being a facilitator from the wing, which is where he is at his best.

My Projection:
27.6 Pts 6.6 Rbs 6.8 Ast and an NBA MVP for his mantle.


As to the Lakers being a better team, Portland is still young, but is one of the deepest teams in the NBA, with a second unit no worse than the Kings starters.

That lineup is deadly enough as is...but then off the bench

Deadly 12 deep, dont be surprised if they beat LA in a 7 game series with that kind of depth.

i Still remember last year that on YA! they said the Blazers were going to beat the Lakers ha ha and they did not even advance ...
