So What are some reasons the LAKERS WILL NOT REPEAT THIS YEAR!

I am not saying they are not but, many people say they will not [ those people crazy as hell ;D]

I can respect your opinion but i want to know why they will not repeat.

One thing i ask don't give some BS answer i can't stand BS answers .

The Lakers getting back to their nonchalant mood...
Lakers focusing too much on offense....
Not enough shots...thus making players unhappy..
Bench not playing well..
Injuries..

I can name a ton....

Because teams got harder

Too much personality on one team.
Too many hot heads on one team.
Too much scoring, too much "me! me!" not enough sharing.
PhiL Jackson's a bit old now... as in... not gonna be able to handle all of the above like he used to.

Artest was a bad pick up for a team like the Lakers imo

Artest will be Hungry because he has NO RING... and he will get them on that track

Spurs,Mavs,Nuggets and Blazers are preety much good reason in the West and you have Celtics,Cavs in the EAST

Phil Jackson is old sadly ... but i think he can still handle the team

and PJ is to me a master of personality he can keep them in check ...

But just because they are the best team on paper....doesn't mean that they are gonna win it all...

But the Lakers are a different team now, so how do you know that they are right now "the best team in the West". Even though they made small roster changes, they are still considered a different roster from last season.

Spurs and Blazers are the biggest threat to the Lakers in the West.I think Spurs will be in the Finals vs Cavs where if that happen i will root for LeBron,I love to see Timothy dominating the Lakers

i JUST feel they are the best team... but thats the best thing about sports anything can happen at any moment.... ;D

Healthy Spurs and Blazers are their biggest threats. Lakers had trouble beating the Blazers at the Rose Garden, and the Blazers got a lot better. They got a pass first guard in Miller. Aldrdige, and Roy are becoming great. Oden has shown improvement.

Spurs will probably come out on top though. A healthy Spurs team is scary. Duncan and Parker leading the team. With RJ,and Manu in the second line of offense. Probably the best 1-2-3-4 punch in the league with Duncan-Parker-Manu-Jefferson. They added a great veteran in Antonio and got a huge steal in Blair. I know its only pre season but Blair is my pre season MVP. The guy has been averaging around 25 points and 12-13 rebounds a game....

The Lakers are the best in the West.

What can bring them down is injuries, lack of team chem., and inconsistency.

Kobe also needs to be less of a hothead. Less techs pls.

Yeah the LAKERS SOMEDAY need to beat the Blazers @ the RG , But can the Blazers beat the Lakers at Staples center

Also, in the intensity of the playoffs(if the Lakers make it , something's got to give between Artet and Kobe).

Artest and Kobe get in a brawl. They're suspended for 72 games. They miss the playoffs. ha ha

Gasol and Odom,etc. somehow pull the team into the playoffs. Then when Kobe and Artest come back they win the championships after being an 8th seed. ha ha i dont know which one is whackier.
