Have you been to the US Virgin Islands? It's international. Trust me. There isn't anything American about it other than tourism.

Definitely take Hakeem (and maybe a couple others) over Dirk. Dirk Nowitzki is the biggest mismatch in NBA history. He is a better mid-range shooter than Hakeem, and is better in the clutch.

I think I could come up with bigger mismatches in NBA history than Dirk. Like Magic, or Shaq versus anyone except...hmmm, what was his name? Oh right, Hakeem. So what if he's a better mid-range shooter? Doesn't mean much when you consider Hakeem's array of post moves. Defense and rebounding mean a lot though, and Hakeem is infinitely superior to Dirk in both areas. As for clutchness, Hakeem has been stellar on the biggest stage of all against elite competition (such as Shaq in '95), while Dirk's ring finger is still empty. And if you're talking about regular season games, then I'm sure Hakeem had plenty of those moments too, just like I'm sure Dirk's clutchness is overvalued because his team's entire freaking offense runs through him for the bulk of the game, and that's only going to be magnified as the clock winds down.
