| Again if you're going to use the highest total from each category...
Duncan 26 PPG, 13 RPG, 3 BPG, 4 APG, and only twice in his career did he shoot below 50% (rounding, of course lol). He has never went below 10 rebounds in his career. He is the definition of fundamental and the definition of leadership. He has been a model teammate ever since he came into the league, unlike Kobe who cried and complained about everything, demanded trades, and talked trash about his teammates. Not until 2008 was Kobe a true leader and a great teammate. Duncan has less rings, but more Finals MVPs, showing that he was more valuable to his team when it mattered than Kobe. He has two MVPs and was Rookie of the Year. Tim Duncan has just been a better overall teammate and player has been throughout their careers. And you're picking Kobe because he has a higher chance of winning a championship NEXT year? So you're saying you're picking Kobe because the Lakers are better than the Spurs?
No. You're picking Kobe because you like him more.

If that's the case, why is Shaq still in the game? His "talent" of being 7'1 300 pounds?

| how can you compare talent between a SG and a PF? they do different things.. it isn't fair.
Duncan is a better rebounder, shot blocker, he's better in the paint.... cuz he's a big guy.
Kobe is a better shooter, passer, overall scorer... cuz he's a G.

| So I'm voting based on what they have accomplished.
....
Tim Duncan: 4 Rings, 3 Finals MVP, 2 Season MVPs, 12 all-star selections, All-NBA 1st team 9 times, All-NBA defensive 1st time 9 times, and has never lost less than 50 games. Other than that one shortened season where they only played 50 games.
Kobe Bryant: 5 rings, 2 Final MVPs, 1 season MVP, 12 time All-star selection, 8 time All-NBA 1st team, 8 time 1st All-defensive team.
They both have a lot of records..
So really... it is pretty close... but I think I have to go with Duncan

What talents does Shaq have? The talent to be stronger than your opponent. and have very strong elbows. shaq has the talent of being great at basketball. talent: –noun 1. a special natural ability or aptitude the stuff you named for yao is all skills.not talent...there a difference.

Ok, so Shaq has the talent of being stronger. Since talent is a natural ability, Yao has the talent of being taller than his opponents, which translate into great performances by him.
