| Will he go down in history as one of the most overrated players, a failure or will there still be a debate that he's a great player? | |

| There will definitely be a debate. Some of the great NBA players go down without rings: Reggie Miller John Stockton Karl Malone Charles Barkley
And even some current players that will be considered great one day if they don't win one soon: Steve Nash Dirk Nowitzki Allen Iverson Vince Carter Tracy McGrady

Be kind of like the KG thing where he signs with a new team and definitely turns it around. I guess you made a good point, since Reggie Miller, John Stockton, Karl Malone, and Charles Barkley are all greats and they never got a ring. Plus the names that you listed of current players is a good point too, none of them are looking too much of title contenders anymore aside Nash, Carter, and maybe Nowitzki (Biased Spurs fan right here though).

| People might criticize him and call him a choker because he was never able to win when it counted most. Like when he was with the Cavs; they were able to win 60+ games on more than one occasion only to lose in the playoffs. And if he doesn't win a ring with this new Heat team...then that will further re-affirm someone's viewpoint that he cannot win it all....not matter how good his team's season record was and no matter who his team mates were. | |

I guess, he's overrated now, and will be if he doesn't win. But will he go down as great in the history books (I hate that figure of speech since every history book I've ever had to read for school never had Lebron in it ) if he does win a ring?

| He definitely will go down as one of the greats. Sure, his jumpshot is pretty nonexistent, but he's always a threat to go for 35+ on a team. The leadership qualities and like I've said before, the jumpshot, along with playoff problems is why people (like me) still consider Kobe Bryant better and that Lebron isn't the best in the game, but hey, Lebron will only get better...once he develops the jumper and has that killer instinct (IF he develops a jumper and a killer instinct), he will without a doubt be one of the NBA greats | |

| I still think he will be in the debate you know because the numbers he has been putting up in the last 7 years are in that category. He will be one of those guys who was great yet could not do it when it counted the most. | |

| He will be in the debate. But on the all time list he would probally be in the top 30,not in the top 10 type of debate,he will be in the top 30 because that guy is a beast at playing the game of basketball, very skillful but he doesnt know how to lead a team to the champoinships and win it.(hee probally wont ever know how to lead, because he is with wade and bosh now. | |

| He will be the best player w/o a ring.
He has already so many awards, accomplishments and records. Who from the guys w/o a ring has 2 MVP's, 1 Finals APP, 1WCF APP, 5straight Playoffs APP's and way more to come.

Karl Malone has two MVPs, more than one Finals appearance, more than one Conference Finals appearance, and certainly more than 5 straight playoff appearances. Unless you were being sarcastic...?

| Yeah, but he will definitely make a couple Finals APP's if he doesn't win it. It just can't happen. If not this year next year for sure. And i didn't include all of the awards. Though Karl was really amazing too and doesn't have the chip. Totally forgot him. | |

| There will never be a debate on LBJ's talent. He will always be known as a great player, because he is a great player. A lot of people still consider Karl Malone the best PF ever and he doesn't have a ring. People usually rank John stockton in the top 3 PG's, and he doesn't have a ring.
the only thing that will be questioned is LeBron's leadership and will to win. That's being questioned now cuz he teamed up with Wade and Bosh.

| Like Nenad said, he will be known as a great player, but as a little bitch for leaving Cleveland and still not even winning a ring in Miami. | |

| He'll win a ring.
If he somehow doesn't than he'll be a great that didn't win a ring.
Really it's just debate material...
If he doesn't get a ring, you'll always be able to use that as leverage in any discussion when the debate comes to "who's better" a.k.a. the most over-asked and overrated question ever on Y!A.
On RBT I don't mind it... because you guys have brains.

Chris' brain has a house built around it from Rajon Rondo's bricks.
