It doesnt look like Lebron James would want to play for the Knicks or Nets now would it?

that was a big rumor going on for a while. It's cooled down big time.

Seeing how horribly both teams are playing I doubt he'd want to be on either team.

He was never going to the Knicks to play for Mike D. They lost their shot at LeBron when they brought him in as coach. I thought that if the Nets could show some potential this season with Harris, Lee, and Lopez, that he may definitely have some interest, but I don't know if he'd play for such a pitiful team. However, if you look at that team (if they get a top 3 pick) for next season, It has Harris, Lee, Terrence Williams, Chris Douglas-Roberts, possibly Derrick Favors, Yi Jianlian, and Brook Lopez. If you throw LeBron in there, there rotation looks like this:

Devin Harris/Courtney Lee (Rafer Alston would probably be happy to stay on board should LeBron come)
Courtney Lee/ Terrence Williams
LeBron James/Chris Douglas-Roberts
Derrick Favors/Yi Jianlian
Brook Lopez/Yi Jianlian

With one more average guy off the bench in the post, this team is a legitimate contender even next season. It has shooters, scorers, good defensive players, and guys that I think compliment LeBron MUCH better than the ones in Cleveland do. The only guys that compliments him very well there are Hickson (may eventually lose his playing time) and Mo Williams. I don't think LeBron joining New Jersey is out of the question, but it would have to show a significant turnaround this season (say 24+ wins in the rest of their games). They still bring the bright lights (Brooklyn before his contract would expire), and intriguing owners in Jay Z, and the big name Russian. Other than staying in Cleveland, I still see New Jersey as LeBron's likeliest destination.

Lebron makes any team better, The cavs would win 35 games without LeBron. And lebron knows that once he's on the knicks or nets that theyll improve the team for him. Lebron would rather team up with lopez and harris rather than stay on a team with washed up shaq and an overrated PG ( mo)
Lebron+harris+lopez or Lebron+lee If lebron went to either knicks or nets theyd already be contenders!

The Nets have Devin Harris, Brook Lopez, Chris Douglas-Roberts, Courtney Lee, and Rafer Alston. Like Visa said, he would make them come together and that would be a dangerous team

I think Lebron would make the Nets a better team and they'd be a tremendous team with him.

With the young players and potential future All-Star like Brook Lopez, and former All-Star Devin Harris they'd be beastly with Lebron.

Not to mention the #1 pick in the Draft

Right now the Nets biggest worry is just winning 1 Game Period

LeBron's gonna stay in Cleveland. Seriously. Almost 70% of the time huge name FA's like LeBron never go anywhere. There would be no reason to sign with NY or NJ, and the only playoff team that could potentially offer him a contract is Miami.

I think he def will stay in Cleveland. Esp.since the Cavaliers have already been to the Finals and got a team lined up that can win

Yeah he would need a huge offer to leave the Cavs. Unless it is too good to refuse he won't leave for a team that can't win a championship. Like the Cavs who can win a championship
