Spurs up 2-1 in series after win at home

A great win for the Spurs tonight.

Dirk scored 35 points and Terry added 17 points; yet, the Mavs still lose. I should add though that Butler only scored a lousy 2 points.

Anyhooo, TD scores 25 points (11-18) and Parker chipped in with 23 points as well. Gino and Hill were alright as well.

Wow, an intense game though cause it kinda went back in forth...Spurs led in the first half and then the Mavericks briefly capture the lead in the 2nd half...but Spurs were able to pull out another victory.

So happy to see my Spurs leading in this series so far...I hope they can win the next game...thoughts guys?

I thought they were dead. I'm being honest. The NBA is about streaks and matchups. SA is on a roll. Spurs have done a great job and limiting clean shots for Dirk and making him work really hard for his points. The Diggler isn't getting any help from his starting five, they scored 15 points combined. The SA defense is showing its teeth and grit.

Good game by the Spurs.

I was actually worried that the Spurs may lose this series () because the Mavs have a stacked roster and all..but Parker, Duncan, and Gino...along with Jefferson/Hill sometimes are really stepping up. I hope the Spurs can win in 6 games...game sevens scare me lol. And I think that Pop calling them dogs did help a bit.

Game 7 only scares you SRF only because I told you Dirk averages about 26 PPG/15 RPG in series that go 7 with him being perfect (never losing in 7). Well let me tell you SA is playing great and I think if it does go 7 SA can do it . Although, taking it in six would be easier on our nerves hahaha

I only want the Spurs to go to he finals if the Cavs get there. I want some revenge (hope it won't be history repeating itself lol).

If Utah and Cavs meet in the Finals that would be pretty cool cause it almost happened in 2007 with Utah missing the NBA Finals only 2 games away. If they would have played that Cavs team they wouldn't have beaten them like the Spurs did but I think Utah would have taken it in 5 or 6. If it's the Cavs now v.s Utah now it all depends on how Cleveland's core guys besides Lebron play and if AK47 is healthy and aggressive enough to upset LBJ23 a bit. AK47 is long and scrappy enough, but no Okur would hurt.

Hopefully, SA can seal it and Dirk Nowitzki acknowledges all that Dallas has done for him, but decides to opt out and try the FA market. NY would take Dirk in a heartbeat if your Bosh decides to stay in Toronto or go elsewhere. I'd be happy with either one really ...

No I'm hoping that SA wins this series cause I like SA more and have always liked the Spurs. It would just be an added bonus to the Knicks (the team that holds my heart) hahahaha as corny as that sounds to get Dirk Nowitzki. I sure as heck won't be mad at Dirk if he ever leaves Dallas neither should the basketball world as a whole. It's been a nice run and Dallas and Dirk have given each other a lot over the years, but Dirk should look out for Dirk in this his 31st year of existence. 2010-2011 could be the year of Dirk with NY. Dirk and Lee and Gay Dirk-a-Glee
