| Who do you think is or will be the Lakers most current rival this year. Personally I would either like to see a Lakers vs. Suns or Lakers vs. Rockets. Your opinions. | |

| They don't have a rival, really. The Rockets have their number, though. That could turn into something, but it really hasn't yet. It is probably Boston, because of the history, and everybody knowing who the best NBA teams are this season. The Suns kind of killed the chance for a potential rivalry by getting their ass beat. The only rivalry there was Kobe v J-Rich, which isn't much of a rivalry. | |

| Well..it shouldn't used as an excuse....but not having Gasol plays a major part though...
Brooks just flat out dominated us... We cannot seem to stop opposing PGs
Kobe shot poorly....very very poorly... And so did the rest of the team...

| Yahoo writers are........horrible.
They give excuses that:
1. Gasol is gone 2. Artest is starting to fit in. 3. Fisher is....horrible.
Rockets excuses:
1. T-Mac? Injured 2. Yao? Injured. 3. Artest? Laker 4. Ariza fitting in. Same as Artest. ha ha 5. Having to work with players the league has never seen before, and still pull out wins.
Rockets have so much heart. The Rockets are a prime example of how a real basketball team should play.

| Celtics = Winner
Cavs = No rivalry, just Kobe and Lebron. They have yet to meet in the playoffs
Rockets = No.
Suns = There used to be a small rivalry, but it's over now
Blazers = No, the Lakers just can't beat them at home
Mavericks = No, Kobe just goes apeshit on them every time.
Spurs = No | |

Yes and no. It's not like having Gasol is ever a bad thing. The guy is an All-Star and a really does so much for the Lakers offensively and defensively. But even with Gasol the Lakers had to fight to game 7 to beat the Rockets so... that's the no part. Really I think it was that Kobe wasn't himself (groin pull or not) and that Aaron Brooks licks his chops at the chance to play the Lakers. He did a great job and the Lakers have a hard time guarding fast, scoring point guards. At one point that Lakers were up and looking good... Bynum only got three shot attempts after half-time. With the guards just jacked up shot after shot. I dunno why they didn't attack the inside more. But you know it was a loss so. They have to learn from it.

Rockets have so much heart. The Rockets are a prime example of how a real basketball team should play. That's one of the main keys to a teams success is heart. It really is emotional when you see them trying their best. Man I love these Rockets

Exactly. If it was split then it would be a rivalry. Bobcats just dominate the Lakers.

| I don't give a damn what happens with any team this season, the Lakers-Celtics rivalry goes back decades. To me, one season does not a rivalry make. | |

| Did anybody else notice that every team that won yesterday had a winning score of 101.
Examples: LAC: 101 OKC: 93
TOR: 100 PHX: 101
HOU: 101 LAL: 91 | |

| I didn't see it because I think it came on the same time as the Lakers vs. Rockets game. I couldn't take my off of that match-up, but the Suns game sounded good by the score. Are you looking at a game right now? | |

| I don't understand why there are so many teams on there. Maybe it's a one-sided rivalry but I don't consider anyone up there a rival besides the Celtics and the Suns. | |
