| Who wins ROY?
I like Blake Griffin, and see him as a younger Amar'e Stoudamire, but John Wall is just put in a better position for him to showcase his talent, while Griffin will be maybe the 3rd option behind Davis, Gordon, and Kaman.
Projected statistics.
Blake Griffin: 15ppg, 9rpg, 2bpg. John Wall: 18ppg, 9apg, 2spg, 5 TO (LOL)

| Yea I pretty much agree with u
Assuming they can both stay healthy they will both be great rookies but Wall is on a team that already embraces him as the superstar so he can pretty much do anything he wants since its his team and it looks like Gilbert just isnt getting it done
Griffin on the other hand is on a bad team....which is stacked full of players. Baron Davis, Eric Gordon, and Kaman (who he has to share the frontcourt with.) I mean maybe Baron Davis can get him some good looks but overall it cant be his team yet.

| WTf is "sharing the frontcourt with" Kaman will only make griffins life easier. The only negative effect kaman will have on blake is probably 3-5 pts. Anyways,I have wall winning ROY with 18 ppg 7 apg 2spg and 3 topg. Blake will be superb; 14 ppg 1 bpg,11 rpg. | |

| I like Griffin more and think he is a better talent than Wall, but as everyone else said he won't get the PT that Wall will so Wall will probably win ROY. That being said, it's the Clippers, so Griffin might get injured on the first day again on a plane crash to his first game. | |

| John Wall. I thought his first game was a fluke [first game jitters maybe] and I think last night he showed what he can do. He's just gonna get better thoughout the year.. so I vote him.
not taking anything away from Griffin though.. that dude is a beast..

| the race should be close. They are different types of players, so we can't just use points boards and assists alone. It's unrealistic for Blake to get 10 dimes any given night, or for wall to get 11 boards any given night.
If Blake gets at least 16 ppg, 10 rpg, and 1.5 to 2 apg for the season and doesn't miss too many games, then he'll get at least a 50/50 shot barring other players getting crazy stats
If John gets at least 16 ppg, 7 apg, 4 rpg and 2 spg for the season and doesn't miss too many games, then he'll get at least a 50/50 shot, barring other players getting crazy stats
The X factor will be decided by which team does better for the season. Will the Wizards make the playoffs? Will the Clippers make the playoffs? If they both do, then who had the better regular season record? And perhaps how far can the teams go? That may be what decides this race.

| Look at time of possession. so for most players his 9 TO's are really only 4 or 5. | |

| No. Your just acting illiterate. "It says 9 tho" No shit. John wall handled the ball for 40 minutes last night.. Lets take a guy like paul pierce whos considered an efficient ball player...he doesn't handle the ball nearly as many as 40 mpg so if you do some math and say " in the little time that pierce controls the ball he averages 2.2 topg, multiply the minutes possessing the ball and you can add the TO's.". | |

| So you say that Pierce is as good of a ball handler? | |

| Sure..why not. ...
but I'm saying,Compared to some of the other efficient players, wall isn't too bad of a ball handler and compared to time of possession he's a very decent one.
