He's a rookie...tons of legends couldnt play defense as rookies...but they had the skills and put the work in..

He has small hands, and has a low basketball IQ. You can learn, but if you're all athleticism, that effort is lessened. Derrick Rose, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and Michael Jordan are the epitome of gifted athletic players, but they are very skilled because they put the work in. I doubt Blake Griffin will have that same drive, especially with his behaviour and arrogance.
