| You guys love numbers.
Numbers don't tell everything.
One of the best shooters I've ever seen is Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf. I think he's a better shooter than Nash too.
It's not like I'm saying Nash sucks or something... he's just not in my top 5.

| Who is Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf ?
Numbers have to account for something... Numbers have to be part of the criteria you use to determine the "best" shooters...

Lol, I tried to stress that I understood that when I said "He's close to it though" or something like that... But I do numbers... Although the numbers don't lie. What's the way you can see how well somebody shoots the three ball? Look at their made amount and compare it with the attempted...either that or watch every single game they play.

Look at their made amount and compare it with the attempted...either that or watch every single game they play. Numbers do lie. I don't think they're useless (far from it), but it shouldn't be the first thing you use to base a players ranking. Ray Allen has 9 years of shooting under 40% from 3 compared to 5 years over 40%. He's also never shot better than 50% from the field, save for his first playoff run with the Bucks. Is Nash a better shooter than Ray Allen? Has Nash ever been just a specialist like Curry? Has Nash ever been the first option on offense? Is Nash a volume shooter? Does this make Nash better because of his %'s? His %'s would tell you yes. But he's not. Like I said he's a great shooter, but in my eyes he a selective shooter. Like a point guard should be. I think he's one of the best PG scorers I've ever seen, who takes very selective shots and pressure shots. But specifically for three point shooting I'd take the guys I picked.

| I'd take Drazen Petrovic from mid range...barely over Mike and Bird
For three point,i prefer Miller,followed by Allen,Bird,Petrovic,Stojakovic
Overall,Larry Legend Bird
