Shaq or Tim Duncan?

Shaq is better then Duncan in his prime.They both have 3 things in common

1.Winning MVP
2.Winning Finals MVP
3.All that in their primes

In my opinion Shaq is slightly better player then Duncan but it's close

In their primes, definitely Shaq. TD in his prime averaged 25 points and 12 rebounds. In Shaq's prime he averaged 30 PPG and close to 14 RPG. I think it's pretty obvious who was better.

Timmy Duncan. One of the greatest defensive players of All-time, the best fundamental player of all-time, and one of the smartest. He has the same accomplishments as Shaq (4 Rings, 3 Finals MVP, 1 MVP) and no doubt he is still one of the best players in the game.

Yep Yep, it's just that Shaq was in the top 10 for about 6-7 seasons in his career, from about 98-04, while Duncan has been dominating at the PF spot ever since he was drafted and is proving it. Fundamentally, you can't find a great big as good as Duncan, or as bad as Shaq (dribbling? shooting? passing? free throws?).

Shaq's not the greatest dribbler, or the greatest shooter. But he is one of the best passing big men in the game. I'm sure if you looked it up you'd find a lot of highlights of Shaq making great passes.

And as for FT shooting, it's not his fault. He's had to shoot with one hand ever since he broke his hand in college.

I couldn't agree with you anymore.
That is why I voted for Duncan.
This guy was dominant since he stepped into the NBA and has maintained his dominance in the lague to this day. For those who think he is finished; I highly doubt that because I think he still has a few good years left in him. Shaq, to me, is not completely finished yet but very close.
