Who is a better defensive center:Dwight Howard or Marcus Camby(prime)

Howard is clearly the best defensive center now,he took that from Camby 2 years ago.So who's better defensive center wuth young Dwight or prime Camby

Note:Dwight is like 22 or 23,won DPOY.

Well imo, Howard still hasn't reached his prime, and I still think he is better than Camby ever was.

I think when Howard reaches his prime, his stats will look something like this:

23 PPG
14 RPG
3 BPG

I think,25/15/3 in his prime

I don't think he could average 25 PPG. Not with the team he is on

20-24 PPG is debatable with better post moves or let's say if the Magic use his power more inside

Dwight is stronger, and more able to actually defend. Camby has had more shot blocking prowess overall, but Dwight hasnt yet reached his prime.

Dwight will prob be 27, 15, 2 , 3-4, 1-2 in his prime.

27 is points,15 rebounds,3-4 blocks

2 are steals and 1-2 are turnovers,right?

2 is assists, 1-2 is steals. TOs i think prob about 3 a game

It's not about stats. If it was, than Wilt would be G.O.A.T.

Talent is more important. Like RO, I think Howard is better already than Camby ever was.

Camby was never really a legit shot blocker. All of his blocks came from the weakside. He was actually nothing more than average in 1 on 1 defense in the paint.

I dunno if Dwight is, but he definitely SHOULD be better than Camby. Also, he flies for blocks and rebounds. I'm gonna have to say Dwight

Howard in his prime wouldn't have to worry about Carter or Lewis, both would be washed out/retired, and he would have a Top PG on his team, Nelson.

the better center in the league isn't saying much..like i said. when the league gets some decent bigs he'll be exposed
