I was surprised Tyler got in the lottery, picked before any other UNC player, but no surprised that he was in the middle of the first round. The draft scouts had him from 25-35, more toward 35 during his senior season solely because he was a senior, and his stock never rose or dropped really from the day he stepped foot on campus. He deserved to be rewarded as a lotto pick though and the Pacers should be happy with their selection since he'll be a solid hustle and rebound player who can also score bunches of points when needed. There is always a senior who makes the lotto because of his strong contributions all year round and effort, and Hansbrough was that guy in the 09 draft. I'm also happy for the guy because he was the best player on that UNC team last year, though his NBA potential may not quite be like Ty Lawson's. | |

| Why can't people just accept that Oden is a bust? its been two years now and all he has done is get injured and bullshit around, not worthy of the 1st pick | |

| What about Bird went to 6th pick? He was like top scorer of the NCAA back then. |
