Better Raptors team: 06-07 vs. 09-10?

2007 was when the Raps got the #3 seed (although they had the #4 record) and lost to the Nets in the 1st round.

BQ: Do you think the Raptors can crack the Top 4 in the East? There's currently a big gap but they've improved a lot during the season.

I agree with CBI. Colangelo is going to pay pay pay to keep Bosh. it all depends on how much Bosh wants to be somewhere else. If you look at the Raps team, they have three main pieces that are going to get better. Bargnani, Belinelli, and DeRozan, who are all under contract for the next two seasons, or more. All of these guys are going to improve, and it's happening already. They don't have a lot of money to go get another great player (they wasted it on Turkoglu, such a bad move), but they are going to continue to improve, and if they can find a way to move Calderon, they're gonna have at least a little room, and be able to sign Bosh to whatever deal they want.

I think he'l l leave because..who wants to play for a candien team? He's from texas so none of his fam is down there, 15% of his check is taken from him..I Think he'd take a little less money to play in the states.

If colangelo is willing to go all out...then i dont know. At first i was positive bosh would leave, but after taking a closer look at things..i just dunno.

But if he'd go all out over the salary cap to sign bosh, it doesn't leave much room to sign other players. And plus, you can only go so far over the cap

Which kinda brings me to ryans point.

They could always try and trade Calderon and maybe some of their other veterans... but maybe the hedo signing will come back and hurt htem this offseason ...

My friend Ryan is correct here.
and plus, get rid of O'Bryant and Banks already.
Banks had good defense but an atrocious shooter and O'Bryant almost fouled out in 10 mins of play one time.

For certain (and I could bet my life on this); Bosh will not be traded to anywhere this season.
Colangelo is gonna pull the stops to keep Bosh.
I love Jose but I think he may need to be traded...big contract and a liability on defense.

there's been talks off that. I think Bosh if he ever wants a ring would have to leave Toronto.

The Knicks are the worst of his solutions if he went there though. Even with that much cap space don't see alot of hope for the Knickerbockers

Damn, if Bosh were to leave Toronto; that team would be soooo screwed.
Their best player would be Bargnani but that may not be enough to keep them in playoff contention (unless he really, really steps up and improves immensely in his weak areas) and Hedo is lazy as hell...and Jose's defense sucks...but Jarrett is pretty good along with the Raps bench which is pretty decent.

Wizards are failure now....they had a healthy team,everyone was there and they blew it.Raptors prove that they are better then the Wizards and achomplished a lot.

Note:Wizards are healthy this season and still fail

Our assist numbers,rebounds and scoring all go up when he plays. he shoots,rebounds,defends bigger players..he's versatile.
