Obviously Armstrong for a later 2nd round pick is the best trade of this decade though...

I second that. Armstrong has all the makings of a very talented high fiver... you know when the starters come back to the bench during a timeout.

"Good job Hawes... *slap* alright Omar... *slap* nice play Evans... *slap* nice shot Martin..."

*snap*

Martin: "ARGH!!! MY WRIST!!!!"

P.S. Chris failed.

Wait nvm. Kings are never in the position to give players mop up minutes...

Marc Gasol. Good stats on a good team (18-18) with Randolph avg. 11rebs only Marc's second year.

Al Jefferson. Good stats on a 8-30 team and team wants to trade him and keep Kevin Love who is outplaying him (12.5rebs).

This is Al's worst season and based stats and performances lately, he is better than Marc.
Imagine if he was playing like last year.

Yeah... he's playing really well. Still the Wolves wanna trade him and keep Kevin Love. Weird huh?

Kinda sounds like a guy that a franchise realizes it can't build around.

Last year was a fluke season for Al. I think of him as a good player who is playing pretty bad right now, but nevertheless I still think of him as a 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th option on any other team. He is best suited as a complimentary player and should never be treated as a 1st option. If Al Jefferson continues being the T-Wolves franchise player than they will continue to lose.

They can get a star for Al and they already got a solid PF, so why not trading him.
They can build a team around Flynn and Kevin..Al can't play Center.

Why not trade Kevin and make Al play PF?

Because the organization doesn't trust Al...

Teams would jump at the chance to get a young double double machine (Love) with two and a half years reamining on his rookie contract over Al and the 42 milion he still has on his.

Did you see how quickly the Pacers rescinded that offer for Granger? That shows that they don't feel like Jefferson alone merits trading a superstar type player for. I don't think any other teams around the NBA would feel any different than what the Pacers do. A player that Jefferson would merit being traded for is a Josh Howard, Josh Smith, etc.

Funny how only one reply has to do with the topic in hand =P

Anyways this isn't even the biggest trade of the decade...it's easily Eduardo Najera for Kris Humphries and Shawne Williams, hahaha

Anyways I hope the Hornets enjoy their bag of Doritos (LOL). But in all seriousness, the Hornets have only one more contract to give away (Ike Diogu? Bobby Brown?) till they're finally under the tax.

Oh... nice.

I like Josh Howard for Al. He'd be a good fit for Dallas and Howard would get to play real minutes again as a Wolve. Jason Terry and Marion kill Howard's minutes... not that I'm a fan of Josh's.

If a team is filled with injuries and are failing to keep the roster at the minimum size, I'm sure they would be allowed to trade some sort of training equipment to another team for a low-salary player...

it's still hilarious that the draft pick they traded for him won't come into play until 6 years from now.

as Nick C said I'd feel insulted to be Hilton Armstrong lol
