Career stats for VC: 23.3 PPG, 5.5 RPG, 4.2 APG, 1.2 SPG, 0.8 BPG in 12 seasons played.

A case could be made that VC is the better player...

I think Scottie is better, he is way better defender,rebounder and more of a "team player"
Vince ofc is a better offensive player but not such a good defender and doesn't like to give the ball much.
Also Scottie is a hof and has archived to many things.

But "if" Scottie hadn't Mike?
Vince would have been better.

Reason number 31,846 why I don't go on Y!A much anymore.

People love numbers. Dominique Wilkins has better career numbers than VC and even he wasn't better than Pippen.

Pippen is in the top 5 swingmen off all-time. VC is somewhere in the 20's.

Pippen played a couple of seasons where he was the number 1 option and still averaged 19-20 PPG. Yes, he won 6 ships, but he was most definitely MJ's sidekick. If VC, hell if ANYONE was with MJ they would have won 6 ships.

Thats cause Scottie is more of an all around player

Even without MJ the bulls were only 2 wins short of their last season with Pippen

And when he was the number one option Pippen brought his team deep into the playoffs year after year. Vince has done that once. Pippen had all the tools. Vince has one. He can score. That's it.

Jordan would not of won 6 rings w/o Pippen. That's a fact.

Uhh, VC's averaged 5 RPG and 5 APG before in a season, a couple of times. The players aren't comparable though so this whole question was pointless in the first place, lol...

...I would rather have VC in his prime than Scottie Pippen...so...

Right.... and Pippen did that to while stopping the player he was guarding from scoring his season avg. In some cases he stopped mutliple players at multiple positons in the same game. Thats impacting the game. VC will score 40 and lose. Pip will score 18-20 pts and win in a blowout.... and that was even w/o MJ.

That's why they're uncomparable.

VS is a better all around player...Pippen was a role player to MJ the GOAT..nothing more nothing less..I would rather have VC..

When I really think about it, it is much closer than it would initially seem, but no doubt, Scottie Pippen is the better player. I'm pretty sure Carter himself would admit that.

I've seen Jordan vs. Pippen in practice. Pippen was no "role player". I've witnessed him shut Jordan down.

How was scottie a good leader? niether were good leaders so that doesnt matter

Pippen led the Bulls deep into the playoffs a couple times without MJ. VC never got very deep in the first place.

Pippen was also good defender and he did play defense.He was complete player on the court.Carter doesn't play defense
