| I mean if you take a look at his stat line for his career it bears a close resemblance to that of other HOF worthy PG's, like say Steve Nash, Mark Price, etc.
15.7 = PPG 6 = APG .454 = FG% .331 = 3pt% .861 = FT% * He's 30th all-time in most dished out assists
* Not to mention he was wrongfully given his 1st & only All-star appearance & All-NBA nomination late in his career after numerous worthy seasons.
* He is a 3x NBA Champion (2 of which he played a very significant role)
* He is the greatest post-up PG I've ever seen & was tricky/crafty on the offensive end.
* Not to mention he is 1 of the ultimate momentum/team chemistry changers for the positive. I mean before him the Milwaukee Bucks were 1st round playoff fodder same as the Minnesota T-Wolves w. him they made it to the conference championships. Also w/o him the Nets & Clippers were sorry NBA franchises, w./ him he made them overachieve & become playoff teams. The Clippers were 1 game away from reaching a Conference Finals w. Cassell after decades of sucking.

| I see where you are coming from but still, I cannot say that he could be a potential candidate for the HOF. I mean, he had a pretty good career and he was pretty beneficial as a role player - emphasis on "role player" because was he ever the main option (1st or 2nd) for a team he was a part of? | |

| I guess you can make a case... but I HIGHLY doubt that he will be in the H.O.F. | |

| Yeah, don't they have to put a picture up? If so. No way.
All jokes aside. no. I wouldn't put him in, but I wouldn't be surprised either if he got in. Kind of like Robert Horry or Chauncey Billups.

| He was the main option when he was on the Clippers Brand/Maggette benefited from him, like Amar'e benefits from Nash. | |

| He'll have his own separate section in the HOF, but then he won't be satisfied with it so he'll abduct it. | |

| No Cassell is a good player but not that great...
Dennis Johnson who was 1979 MVP finals, 3 NBA champions and arguably 1 of the best perimeter in the NBA all of time not even a HOF... |

But how far did the Clippers go when Cassell was with them? HOFs are usually those who make quite a significant impact on the teams they are/were a part of. Cassell is good; don't get me wrong...but I would not put him in HOF. and lol @ J's comment.
