Orlando

PG:Anthony Johnson(smart vet guard)
SG:JJ Redick(good shooter)
SF:Mickel Pietrus(good shooter,defender)
PF:Barnes(versatile,overall nice game)
C:Gortat(solid true center)

Cavs

PG:Boobie(inconsistent but streaky shooter)
SG:Parker(good overall shooter)
SF:Moon(good defender and slasher)

Orlando, followed by Cleveland, followed by Boston

Orlando has the best bench in the East without a doubt.

House > Johnson > Gibson
Allen > Redick >Parker
Pietrus > Davis > Moon
Barnes > Powe > Scalabrine
Sheed > Z > Gortat.

one of the guys listed for orlando has to start, and after you take away their best bench player, it isnt better than Cleveland's

either him or pietrus will start. those are their two best bench players. plus bass has a mid range game, and dwight does not.

Yeah but Manu is clearly better than Mason but Popovich still put Mason as the starting line up, who knows maybe Van Gundy would like to see Pietrus plays in the 2nd team.

mason is a better defender, and the spurs like a second creator after Parker. thats whe manu comes of the bench. neither barnes or pietrus can create and pietrus is by far the better defender

Sometimes players are put onto the bench to make it stronger, or because the player is used to it and accepts the 6th Man role.

Like MSG said, Manu is a great example.

It doesn't matter about who the better player is, it's just what team's needed the most if they need defender, then put the defender as the starting line up etc.

But he is so much better than Dahntay Jones.
