| Steve Nash - he is a 2 time consecutive winner of the regular season MVP award (which I think he deserved because of the impact he had with the Suns).
In addition, he does a great job of making his team mates play better (e.g. Marion, who is a sub-par player without a great PG to make him look good).
AI was good but Nash was better.

| Allen Iverson in his prime could win games by himself, without anyone else putting double digit scoring nights, and people missing easy jumpers over and over again. For Nash to be effective, he needs other to be on their game as well. There is no doubt that he is a great point guard, but hes seriously lacking in ability to finish in the lane and defensively as well. It has to be remembered that in his prime, Iverson wasn't a true point guard, and also much more solid defensively than Nash has ever been. he could stay in front of his opponents, and is one of the best ever at jumping into passing lanes for steals. | |

| Well, when you are a PG, you need others to be on top of their games, but he made them better himself, rather than expecting to get better players. | |

| Steve Nash
His impact on the offensive end.Fantastic no-look passes, great shooter(50/40/90) in the Suns in percent, involves everyone.True he isn't the scorer and defender that one Iverson was but he could easily impact the game better, pass and shot better.
Iverson played as a scoring PG sometimes which isn't that good as a true PG.Iverson is the better player tough

| Tough question... but I'd have to go with Steve Nash. Both were fantastic in their primes though. |

| Iverson. Best scorer and player undef 6 foot 1 in NBA history and even won an MVP.
To be that size and that great in the NBA is incredible. People forget Iverson is really tough and has played through alot of injuries and played all 48 minutes of games plus Overtimes many times.
thats what I used to love about AI

| Iverson. The only thing I see Nash having on AI is probably shooting and passing. Iverson is and was the most toughest player in the NBA. You don't see much guys 6'0" and under scoring on the likes of Shaq, Dwight, and Duncan. | |

Because there was no hope for any of them to become better... And he still brought them to the Finals

And he still brought them to the Finals He had a good team but he failed to win it twice and doesn't want to win.You as a Iverson fan will ask why?Well my answer is this,if he wanted to win a ring so badly after failing to times to the Lakers mostly because of Shaq, then he could have sign for a better team but the money were more important for him..... Nash is a better guard but Iverson is the better player
