| Yes I know they are not going to win an NBA title and they traded their star Vince Carter.
but look at the young talent they picked up last 2 years.
They did a terrific job drafting in getting Brook Lopez last year, and stealing Chris Douglas-Roberts who did terrific when he played in the 2nd Round.
Also they traded a 35 year old Jason Kidd and got a young up and coming All Star PG in Devin Harris a few years ago
This year they draft Terrence Williams who will be a stud, and they get good value for trading Vince Carter
they got a guy who has a chance to be in All Star in Courtney Lee
so how about the Nets getting this young talent?

| They shouldn't have traded VC. They have barely any veteran experience now | |

| They got Raefer Alston in the trade. Vince Carter is getting old and not going to be there for the future which this was about. Skip To My Lou brings some veteran experience.
With Devin Harris,Courtney Lee,Terrence Williams,Yi Jianlian, and Brook Lopez as the starting 5, a few years from now they'll be real tough to beat
they also unloaded a ton of cap space for the 2010 Free Agent Class

| Honestly the main reason they traded VC was so they have a good shot at signing someone in 2010 and if they do tht and still have harris, lee and lopez they do have potential. | |

| And Chris Douglas-Roberts who just needs another year or two of developing and he can be a good NBA role player. | |

| If the Nets sign somebody in 2010 they will be even greater
I dont know about Yi but I like 4 of the 5 starters with Harris,Lee,TWill, and Brook Lopez
CDR will be a beast off the bench too
Nets will be a force to be reckoned with
As a New Jersian and since the Nets are my 2nd fave team Ill be pulling for them

| Eventually it will. When you have a bunch of good young players, they will mature and develop, leading to more success | |

| The young talent will eventually translate into wins
the Nets young players have had a ton of big game experience and have been good leaders in the past. Devin Harris led the Mavs to the NBA Finals,TWill was the leader of a good Louisville team,Courtney Lee led Western Kentucky to the Swwet 16 and played in the NBA FInals for the Magic
The Nets will surprise people by getting more wins than people think they will. Harris as the PG will glue the team together. I like the way their games translate with each others as well.
If Yi plays well the Nets could be a playoff team

| Yes!!! Thats exactly what people don't realize!! The whole team is talented, the Vince Carter minutes are basically gone, I can see Possibly 3-4 future all stars on this team. They continue to get no love.. at this point I'm just gonna sit back and watch them prove everyone wrong. |

| I agree me
only me and you know about the Nets. They're going to make a playoff push and surprise everybody here
Devin Harris is already an All-Star, Courtney Lee,Terrence Williams, and Brook Lopez have potential to be

| A lot of people are under rating the Nets. They have a lot of potential. I think they can make a push for the playoffs. A lot of teams will uner estimate them, and the Nets will come out with the win.
Harris is getting better each minute. He is an amazing player. Lopez is going to be a very strong center. T-Will is one of the more interesting players of the draft with a lot of potential. Courtny Lee will have a bigger role, and improve greatly as well.

| Teams like the Nets and Thunder will dominate in the future if their players continue to develop and they can surround them with the right pieces. | |

| I agree
Bulls,Nets,Thunder, and Blazers are the 4 teams I think are best setup for the future(except the fact that Andre Miller is getting older)
The Nets are very underrated and not getting alot of respect. People are picking them to finish dead last in the league and thats ridiculous.
The Nets will thrive off the disrespect card and win 35-41 games this season. People don't realize the set of young players the Nets have and how great their games translate with each others. Devin Harris is the All-Star type PG that's good for jelling a young team together
the only thing I think they need to change is to get a new head coach in time. Lawrence Frank isn't a good coach

| In two to three years, the Nets should be one of the top four seeds in the East, LeBron or no LeBron given the core they have of Harris, Lopez, Lee, and Yi. The only problem with the Nets next year are that there are so many talented teams on paper (more talented than them) that it doesn't look promising for them next year. If they're on all cylinders, yes, they could be in the playoffs, but I think they're a 30-35 win team right now. Could be .500 if a more talented falls flat on their faces and the Nets take advantage. That's life in the NBA. | |
