Eh? Doubt it. According to the ESPN article a strictly Melo-Bynum swap works just fine as a trade but the Nuggets want to shed more salary. So there's no way they'd want Artest's contract back with Bynum. Bynum + draft picks for Melo + a somewhat-expensive-but-not-that-good Nugget might work.

| I don't see why Denver would want LA's pick... not really valuable at all. And if I was Denver, i would rather want Wilson chandler + lottery pick. Bynum has fragile knees.

| I don't think it happens. I don't see how Denver would be satisfied with just Bynum and maybe some bench players. They went from getting Devin Harris, derrick Favors and 4 first round picks to getting brewer, chandler and a lottery pick... I doubt they end up settling for an injury prone center.
Unless the Min/Den/NYK talks died... then settling for Bynum is better than nothing.
If this trade does happen... I don't think Pau Gasol would be very happy haha.

| I heard Mark Cuban wouldn't mind renting Melo. And then based on things go try to convince Melo to stay in Big D. Damn all this movements hahaha | |

| I'd rather not do this... If Nene somehow gets in the deal, I'll be cool with that though. | |

| Well I just don't like how our frontcourt would be...
Gasol/Ratliff Odom/Caracter/Joe Smith
Soft front court with no depth :/

| If it's in the cards the Knicks do trade for Melo. It better be Melo combined with Naldo. I want Balkman back in NY. I miss that guy. He's the only move I thought Walsh did that has been unneccessary. Bring me Balkman so I can get a Balkman jersey haha. And in the most perfect of worlds bring me Ty Lawson also haha | |

Soft front court with no depth :/ IF this trade happened and the Nuggets/Lakers swapped Melo and Bynum... the lakers would almost be forced to trade Artest. He wouldn't have much playing time and would become a pretty big headache. So the Lakers would trade Artest for a Big so Gasol doesn't have to play C and so Odom can continue coming off the bench. Some thing like this: http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=5uunprs^^ just an example.

| Kobe - Melo would work fine... Only problem I have with this is LA's frontcourt. If we can do a deal like what Steve posted... that would be cool. | |

| Since I am a big Syracuse fan as well as a University of Washington fan. It would be boss for my favorite team the Knicks to be represented by Carmelo Anthony as opposed to freaking Andy Rautins. Syracuse the Knicks up!!!
Rautins can go to Chicago Nenad and be your starting SG hahaha... Bogans is doo doo

| In terms of going forward... Kobe isn't gonna' be able to carry this team much longer. The Lakers could build for the future. Still it doesn't make sense to me. Bynum for Melo'? | |

| Carmelo Anthony=Superstar,or at least a super scorer
Andrew Bynum=When healthy*,one of the best centers in the game
Even though Melo can't do anything but scoring and decent rebounding,he's still a better player than 'Drew is now

| Ga-soft can't play Center, but 'Melo would eventually take over Kobe's role in 2-4 seasons max. I say they try adding Sacramento into the conversation and see if they can pick up Brandon Dalembert. | |

Dwight Howard's destinations in 2012 will either be Los Angeles, Boston, or Atlanta. Just saying.
