| Yeah, Rondo drops assists like crazy and gets as much rebounds as centers and power forwards in games, still scoring and defending like a mofaka. | |

| Chauncey Billups should be on the list. He is still one of the top point guard's in the NBA.
IDK why people put Derrick Rose on these best point guard lists but never Russell Westbrook.
Anyway, Chris Paul when healthy. Currently Deron Williams.

| I have him as the best Point Guard in the league at least for the playoffs because he's triple double machine!
Heck,he grabbed almost the same amount of rebounds that Andrea Bargnani, starting Center for the Toronto Raptors did...LMFAO!

Anyway, Chris Paul when healthy. Currently Deron Williams. Westbrook and Rose to me are the same. Paul and Williams, both can't come close to what Rondo does on defense and the boards. They both have better jumpers, but Rondo has just as much an ability to score as they do. Just as good a passer or possibly better. idk why everybody is waiting on Rondo when he's already blossomed into a league leader at a position.

| Russell Westbrook came out of college as a shooting guard. No one thought he would ever mae the transition over to the point guard position.
Rose: 21 PPG Westbrook: 16 PPG
Westbrook: 8 APG Rose: 6 APG
Rose is a better shooter but Westbrook has free throw's on him. Westbrook has better defense and rebounding as well.
I'm not debating Russell Westbrook is the best PG in the NBA. He's not. But to put Derrick Rose in the convo and not Westbrook always seemed weird to me.

| That's because he plays to Durant. Not that he's not good enough,he just needs to get his stats go little up and next thing you know,he's in the Top 5 discussion. | |

| Well since everybody is comparing all these players, I might as well.. Rose-Westbrook. I'm taking Rose, but barely. The guy is unstoppable offensively, and still takes time out of his day to set up teammates D-Will-CP3. Williams has better defense in my opinion and can score in any way possible, while CP3 has limited range. Williams also has his fair share of assists to compete with CP3's passing. Williams Nash-Kidd? I needed Steve Nash in here, and Jason Kidd plays the most like him except he grabs rebounds. At this part of Kidd's career, I'm going with Nash. And then Rondo, who I can't really think of anybody to compare to. So Rondo. Rose vs. D-Will. We are talking about best POINT GUARD, and Derrick Rose seems fit to be a SG to me (if he was taller). Like I've said, he's amazing offensively, but so is Williams, while Williams dishes the ball even more. It'll be interesting to see Williams' main man Boozer play with Rose, but for now, it's Deron. Nash vs. Rondo. Again, we are talking about point guards, and Steve Nash just can't lose this battle to me. Rondo has the athleticism by a long shot, but Steve Nash can find any player in any place any time any game. The guy can also shoot the 3 and the free throw with the best in the NBA, while Rondo's range stops at like 15 feet...Steve Nash is the best distributor in the NBA today, so I'm going Nash. Deron Williams vs. Steve Nash. Oh my gosh...Deron Williams has the athleticism on Nash, but unlike Rondo, Deron can shoot very well. Deron 19/11, and Nash is 16/11, but Nash shoots better from everywhere. However, Steve Nash seems hesitant to score sometimes. It seems like he passes up some shots and some open lanes to dish it off to somebody else. Deron knows when his teammates should get the ball, and when he should get the ball. This is one of the toughest decisions I've ever had to make on this website..but I'm going to say Deron Williams. | |

| You don't have to have a jumpshot to be a great point guard. he has a jason kiddish game...jason didnt have a jumper in his prime...Rajons a wellrounded guard but not the most well rounded.. | |

He doesn't really have a Jason Kiddish game... Kidd was probably the smartest NBA player when he was on the court, and had the best court vision of anybody. Pretty much he didn't even need to see you, but he knew where you were, and he knew where you would go. He would put the ball there. He also is a great reboudning PG. With Phoenix, Jason Kidd once averaged 17/11/7 and 17/10/6 in two different seasons. With New Jersey, he once averaged 19/9/6 and then 13/10/8. He averaged 8 rebounds a game twice in his career. 5 rebounds is Rondo's career high in RPG. I understand he has a long way to go, but in no way is he most well rounded. Especially now since Kidd has gotten a pretty good shot and is still putting up 9 assists and grabbing 6 boards a game.

I didn't say you did. I was just adding that Rose shouldn't be in the best PG discussion either after you mentioned Westbrook.
