Guys why are you arguing with visa so much? shes brought up valid points

and shes right you obviously need defense but stating"Defense always beats offense" is way off

i play defense myself but offense more scores more but then playing some defense will probably mean you win

Focusing on defense can lead to offense (fast breaks off turnovers, blocks), while all offense can only lead to offense

You guys are actually taking offense over defense?

Defense is the main part of the game. No defense means no game. Defense produces offense. It doesn't work the other way around. Offense comes from good defense, and right now, Yao has no good defense. For his size, he should definitely be getting more than 2 BPG (1.1 in playoffs, that hurts). 7'6" getting 2 BPG or 6'11" getting 2.9 BPG.

Defense wins games for sure and i agree here with SK.That's like saying Amare that doesn't want to play defense is better then KG........He has a point and i agree.The defensive impact(rebounding,shot blocking,post defense) is the main reason why i take Oden over Bynum.Same on here,Dwight is better no mather he has no post game.He's athletic and quick,if he likes to have a good post game then this wouldn't even be a comparion

Haha yeah sorry SK but I think Yao Ming is better. He's more consistent, doesn't commit a lot of turnovers, can shoot FT's, great shot blocker, and just overall much more complete under the hoop.

Good point from KHai but i stil think that the defensive impact Howard brings is better then Yao's offense

But Yao is still a defensive presence and is the Rockets 1st option on offense. Dwight is nowhere near the first option on offense on the Magic.

But you guys act like yaos defense is terrible...it's really good. Dwight is just really great

And Like I said before, durability comes into how good a player is.

Yao is one of the least durable players in the game.

But Dwight who is without a post game gets more points then Yao

Yao Ming is pretty good at threes. I heard on ESPN that his coach says he does well.

Thanks for info JC,i have never heard that before.He could shot threes but he's too slow to get back on defense then

He can shoot threes but he never ever attempts them in a game. But I heard he's pretty good at threes in practice.
