Why is Rajon Rondo overrated

When his cons outweigh his pros?

Pros
*Speed/Quickness
*Good passing
*Driving to the lane/Creating space

Cons
*Can't shoot from mid/3-point rage.
*Can't hit a free-throw to save his life.
*Can't create his own shot.
*Can't defend "Unless he comes from behind and steals the ball from you".

Nah...he's not really overrated...

He has his faults but without him...the Celtics sure weren't getting to the finals....
He was everything the team was....if he played bad, the team did bad.
If he played well, the team played well.

I have to dispute "cant create his own shot"
The only reason he chooses to not force it is because the Celtics have plenty of options..
If he were on a team where he was forced to beat his man....he would do it...quite easily.

And Rondo's a good defender...
He's not elite...but he sure as hell not "can't defend"
