| Don't you think this guy is just really special. Everyone says everything he does is based off the players on his team. This may have been true 2 seasons ago, but since then, this guy has developed into a legitimate star in his own right. I expect him to make the All Star Team this season and average a stat line of:
17 pts, 9 ast, 5 reb, 2 stl, 1 blk
He is the future of the NBA PG position, with size, speed, athleticism, court vision, defense, and an ever improving jump shot. I think this guy will be the top point guard in the league during his prime, and have multiple seasons of 1st Team finishes, and maybe even an MVP. There is no doubt about the multi-faceted threat he is, and I see him, in his prime seasons, averaging:
23 pts, 11, ast, 6 reb, 3 stl, 1 blk

| Role Player - on the celtics he is, but he's better than that. All-Star - Can happen easily, the east doesn't have very good PGs. 1st team - I doubt that he can compete with CP3 and D-will MVP - I doubt that he can compete with LeBron or Kobe | |

| Voted All-Star. The guards in the east that could actually beat him to it are Rose, Wade, and Johnson. Other than that, he's safe. | |

| So what? anyone can become a great shooter, I hate when people use shooting as a longterm flaw, He will hookup with a shooting coach. | |

| I voted role player because there is not denying that Rondo is a talented point guard and will just get better and better - the thing is, there are many players in the NBA that become underrated throughout their entire career and I have a feeling this may happen to Rondo as well.
For instance, Mike Bibby, an amazing PG in his own right, has been underrated for his whole career. Even though he has always made a positive impact on his team (remember Sacramento and currently Atlanta?). Despite this, I feel that he has not been fully recognized his contributions. I have a feeling the same will happen to Rondo and that he will be overshadowed by his team mates (the so-called "Big Three" of the Celtics).
