| Very nice Season, Nice post season run and a grueling Finals series. But Lakers still Repeat. What do you think Laker fans?? I know I see a 3 peat.
Kobe with his 5th, Fisher 5th and Phil 11.
Kobe now G.L.O.A.T? I think so.

| lmao, I hope this was unintentional...but when you said G.L.O.A.T. (Greatest Laker Of All Time) it also spells out "gloat"...pretty ironic. | |

| if kobe wins his 6th maybe. But magic is still first, for sure. It might even need to be 7 for kobe to pass magic. I'm not sure yet | |

I know Kobe , Fish and PJ have been a good combo. I think they can repeat who in the west are strong ENOUGH To compete for the WEST and get in the way for the 3rd title ??. Is GLOAT stand for Greatest Laker of All Time ? if it is well I still have Magic up there and maybe West so we will see if Kobe Wins number his 6th ring then yes =)

| Right now, I'd say it's a toss-up between the two. If Kobe wins another ring...I'd have to give my vote to him. | |

| Kobe's not the G.L.O.A.T.There are couple of players ahead of him
Kobe might win more rings then Kareem and Magic but this guy won't be better than these 2

| Congrats to the Lakers, well deserved
As for the whole GLOAT thing I can see Kobe as maybe number 2 cause he is better than West and Kareem did spend alot of time in Milwakee. Still Magic revolutionized the game like no other with Larry Bird so i dont think he'll surpass magic

| Stick to Basketball careers only and Kobe is the G.L.O.A.T. Magic had Kareem for his 5 Championships, and Worthy for 3. Shaq is no Kareem. But yea You can go either way I'd want Kobe tho. | |

I'll explain for the first one because i already did for the second We all know that the Warriors get stronger with every draft and they are going to rewrite the NBA books with a championship

On a lighter note I GOT MY BUCKS FROM THE BET =) WOO LAKERS MADE A LITTLE MORE RICH XD. Well, if Amare comes back I could have fun playing devil's advocate for the Suns...or if a first- or second-tier FA goes to Houston or Dallas...but yeah, I don't see any of that happening. The question is, after the free agency dust has settled, what team in the East can beat them when they make their inevitable return to the Finals? Daaaaaaaaaaayuuuuuuuuuum, I was arrogant there.

| In the east think about it ... many key free agents might go there like Amare and Bosh and don't forget Lebron and Dwade what will they do so put that in to consideration . Oh Boston what will they do they have key free agents and they are getting a year older and Rivers he might not be back so put that there. | |

| It'll definitely be interesting to see what new contenders there are when all the major free agents have inked their new contracts...but I'll still probably be more interested in which backup/fringe starter PG the Lakers sign lol.
I think Rivers leaves; otherwise, he probably isn't going to be able to see his son play his senior season of high school before he goes off to Duke or Florida or UNC or UCLA or the other schools on his list (last I heard, Duke was the heavy favorite). Also, sounds like Sheed is done. But I'm pretty sure Allen will be back. And if Rivers does leave, Kevin McHale has been mentioned as the easiest replacement...God, I hope not...I'll have more reason than ever to hate the Celtics...

| I understand 100% that is the main concern for the Lakers PG position and a better bench well consistency there... True true . I hope Rivers comes back his style of coaching is motivating well that is how it looks to me but better for the Lakers lol I know selfish. Sheed is done . Kevin McHale ... NOO LOL ... I don't like him as much either, but he is a CELTIC LOVER he even said something I heard him say he is a Celtic for life or a Celtic at heart bs lol. So uhh. lol | |

| For the Lakers, "bench consistency" is an oxymoron...it would be nice to find it at some point... I hate Kevin McHale, even though he played well before my time. It's pretty much because my dad hated him. My dad was a huge Lakers fan but before you think he was biased, he loved Larry Bird and Robert Parish. Dad couldn't stand McHale for: 1. Clotheslining Kurt Rambis in Game 4 in 1984 (I think that's when Dad said it was...?) 2. Other dirty moves he would make (tripping players, shoving them, etc.) 3. Acting like it was a crime against nature to have a foul called on him; Dad said McHale was the biggest whiner Dad had ever seen in the game of basketball So if this guy becomes the new Celtics coach... | |

| Straight up truth one day we will have consistency I think the o7-08 season they have good consistency I trusted the bench. Oh I agree with your dad on number 1 .. I love Kurt Rambis and I seen that replay a thousand times. Oh what a punk Mchale was a player then I still don't like him now. Ehh he can become the Celtics coach and like you say on point 3 he will get a lot of technicals from complaining =) . | |

| Yeah...I almost wish it would happen; then Sheed comes back, and the two of them together rack up the most disgusting technical foul tally in NBA history... | |

| Boston is done, DONE. I remember before the playoffs I said they would upset the Cavs, but lose to the Magic. Wrong on the last part. Oh and btw little rivers is going to Duke, is it just me or do all of the basketball coachs sons go to duke?
Ray, pierce, and garnett get one year older. Rasheed retires, Rivers is gone. Nate robinson is a lock to leave, and ray isn't even a guarantee even though he wants to retire a celtic
