He's a beast in every aspect of life. He is a deserving All-star, does commercials (not that good of an actor, but still), is funny, nice to fans (genuinely a good person), and he's only dating the hottest celeberity NBA girlfriend to date in Sabina Gadecki. He wins @ life.

I don't think he is better than KG, maybe offensively nowadays. But, nowhere near the Ticket defensively. Lee is a better rebounder though. D. Lee also brought it to KG in their first meeting this year. David Lee vastly outperforms players, like KG. Hell TD has been a beast for years in the NBA and Lee played amazing against TD a hell of a lot of times. Therefore, KG may be better, but David Lee belongs to be mentionaed in the same class as KG and other players of their position. KG is a HOF'er and Lee would never be one unless King James or someone comes here and NY wins like 7 titles, but King James is not coming. But, Lee is up there amongst the SF, PF, C are whatever you group him as. I don't group him into a particular position, but that's just me.

I never said that he is better than KG. I said the opposite. Although, I also said that not career wise of course, but as of right now Lee deserves to be in the same group of players KG is mentioned today with. This is for David Lee posting up better numbers than most of todays best bigs during their head 2 heads. He deserves to be named among the NBA's elites. I still say KG is better, just saying.

Yes why not Tim Duncan seems to think so and he is not in the same class as KG or Duncan career wise and still not better now, but he beats both of them in head 2 heads and puts up the numbers, so why can't he be categorzed in the same group as KG and TD and the rest of the best in the NBA. There are only a few players Lee plays iffy against that's Pau, Dirk, Yao, and Howard. Cause of strength in DH12's case and height. The rest I have seen Lee beast on them.

2-No, Lee just has no other rebounders on his team and plays at a fast pace

3-I looked it up, and his numbers v. KG are very nice in a lot of games, but his team is also 1-8 against Boston since KG joined the Celtics and he has had some poor games as well. As for Duncan, he has three starts against him, and just the most recent one was a great game. It was a loss, still.

4-No, you talk about how good Chandler and and Gallinari and Harrington can be. If Lee was a legit All Star, they\'d be better than the 10th seed in the East.

David Lee was a doubel-double beast way before Mike D and his system came to NY. Under Isiah Thomas David Lee was forced on the bench and he played 20+ minutes and still got rebounding numbers and a decent amount of points. He was in the top 10 in rebounds and double-doubles off the bench. In that time NY did not run at a fast pace under Isiah. He had Curry, which is a disaster of a rebounder, but he hogged the ball offensively, so Lee getting his buckets was sheer hustle back then. Furthermore, Lee had Randolph on that team as well and Randolph is a monster on the glass not to mention Jeffries and Q.Bitchardson hit the glass well also. Lee was still able to produce. I think he is the most gifted natural rebounder in the NBA for his size he just has the natural ability to find a rebound. The ball gravitates to him, like it did to Dennis Rodman, Nowadays, Lee is getting his numbers up cause of more minutes and the fact that he now has a reliable dead-on jumper and the fact that he's getting the minutes. The fact that he rebounds is nothing new he's been doing it and showing flashes since his rookie year in the few games he played and in his Sophomore year is when he really showed it.

He's carrying the Knicks right now. KG is a All-star and in Minny they did squat after Cassell and Spree left. David Lee blew by Tim Duncan all game if you watched it he used his qucikness and exposed it. He also did a nice game defensively against TD. NY lost that game cause Manu exploded and TP did too. Blame that on Hughes and Duhon not Lee. NY should have beat Boston that was bullshit. KG shot that on an illegal screen and NY was still foolish not to give the foul to give. Lee was not guarding KG blame that on Harrington. He was the guy who lost KG.

Haven't really seen the consistent jumper that you mention. To me, he's Andris Biedrins with less talent around him. He belongs nowhere near the names Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan. Not now, and not ever. He's a solid player, but on a team like the Cavaliers, he'd be Anderson Varejao with a better free throw percentage.

David Lee is hitting 18-20 footers this entire season against Indiana he had about 6 or 7 of them and he's been shooting it all year.

Comparing him to Varejao and calling him just a role player is absurd. How many 8 assist games did Varejao dish out in his career? David Lee posted 1 already and has a slew of 5 assist games. In fact, he's the best assist player playing C after Marcus Camby. Not only that, but he can handle the ball a little bit too.

If he was playing alongside a bonafied superstar the likes of a Chris Bosh or whomever he would double his production I can assure you that . The guy carried us to victories. Against the Clippers not only did he hit the gamewinner after Baron Davis hit the clutch 3, but he put down Kaman virtually the entire last couple of minutes in the 2nd quarter as well as the whole 2nd half agyer Kaman began the game very strong. Lee hit the gamewinner against the Bulls, a team NY is fighting for a playoff spot against. Both of these were jumpshots. TD the greatest PF ever and still the best in the NBA IMO said David Lee is an All-star and has gotten much better. Lee scored 37 points and posted 21 rebounds in the same game can Varejao or a mere role player do that? This season he had a 30/15 game against Detroit he could have dropped 40+ if D'Antoni hadn't sat him out cause of the whipping NY was giving Detroit. Let me not mention Indiana Lee scored 14 points and 10 rebounds in the 1st quarter shooting 6/6 from the field.

He was sat at the end of the 1st and not inserted until the midway point of the 2nd. He dominated the game scored NY's 6 straight buckets or something like that at one point of the game and did not even play a single minute in the 4th quarter. Sat out a little before midway through the 3rd cause NY was rocking a 48 point lead. He finished off with 22 points/16 rebounds if he would have played in a closer game he could of hit 40-50+ and 20 the way he was playing.


David Lee could be a role player with All-star implications every year if he has a superstar to play with. Not saying LBJ23 is going to NY cause I don't think he is, but I'll use him and his Cavaliers as an example.

Cause they started 1-9. Since, then they are 11-8 and 2-0 in 2010. David Lee is carrying us and posting monster numbers and I mean monster in 3 games he's posted 29/12 and hit gamewinners. In the span of NY turning their season around he's posting 22/11 and he is the only one on our team besides Wilson Chandler whom are consistent that is why NY started the way it did. But, as Duhon and Harrington pick it up NY picks it up. Al Jefferson is raved about by many and he puts up All-star stats, but he's nothing compared to Lee nor are his T-Wolves. Yet, many people have believed to have said Al Jefferson is a deserving All-star. David Lee is better than Jefferson. D.Lee can play SF like I said he has a reliable jumpshot now. Even when he didn't have a jumpshot and got his buckets indicative of what Kenny Smith nicknamed him "Shallow Water" living off of hustle points he played a little bit of SF in his rookie season off the bench. That is how Lee can double his production with a post player cause Lee has adapted his game now and can shoot the jumper and doesn't necessarily have to be limited to PF/C. This year we have played him at SF as well when Jeffries and Harrington are in together or Bender as well.
