| The only player on the Nuggets that has consistently shown up on mostly all nights is Carmelo Anthony. JR Smith is probably one of the most inconsistent in the league. Chauncey is inconsistent this year. Lawson is inconsistent. Afflalo is inconsistent. Nene isn't but isn't a big superstar so his input isn't enough to make a big difference. And lastly, Anthony Carter sucks
Carmelo is dropping 30-40 for a lot of games this season, and the games are pretty close or the Nuggets lose. When a player drops 41 (like today), you should NOT lose unless the teams are scoring in the 120+s. The Nuggets are like the Cavaliers. Carmelo is Lebron. Chauncey is Mo.
It makes me mad. | |

| ^^^Agree with Nick.
Chauncey is the super glue for the Nuggets.

| yeah Billups is still a great player. 17 PPG and 6 APG this year... yeah his FG% is lower.. but he still gets it done when it counts most. And he didnt play today.... and what happened? they lost to memphis.
plus the Nuggets have a solid bench..

| Yes, without Chauncey we have no solid PGs (inconsistent rookie Lawson and scrub Carter)
But even when Chauncey does play, he's very inconsistent. One night he will do great, but then the next he'll shoot 3-11

| yeah but at least Billups plays defense.
and nene is having a pretty decent year.
if the Nuggets were a "one-man team" they wouldnt be 19-9 in the west.

| Nene is the one exception to the points I'm making, he's the only really consistent player besides Melo.
I don't understand how they aren't a one-man team. There's only ONE MAN who comes to play every game. The rest are on and off

| well the reason why Melo is dropping 30-40 a game is because he is shooting it 22 times a game on average. If a player is taking that many shots, they better be scoring 30 a game. | |

| Thats because they have such a hot and cold starters and bench.
J.R. Smith will shoot you to a victory as easily as he'll shoot you into a loss.
Kenyon Martin is overpaid and owes most of his ridiculous contract to Jason Kidd.
Birdman is okay... but he doesn't scare anyone on the offensive end.
Afflallo was brought in to replace Dahntay Jones, but he is really a bench player who starts because Coach Karl doesn't want to start J.R. Smith.
Pretty much without Billups the offense turns into Clevelands... "Give the ball to LeBron" only difference is that LeBron is a waaaaaaaaay better creator.

Yeah, and of those 22 shots, he's hitting around 48%. He constantly will shoot around that 50% mark game in and game out...nobody else except Nene will do that for the Nuggets

if he didnt do any of that is would be better 43% is a career low for him. It's his laser beam jumpshot. Thank god for backboards or there would be fans getting decapitated from his jumpers.

| Martin never developed a post game. They guy was a human jumping jack out of Cincinnati... he was the best player out of one of the worst draft classes ever. I think having Kidd getting him easy attempts spoiled him.
Outside of his kung fu hacking and sending shots out of bounds (instead of keeping the ball in play) Martin isn't much of a factor on the team.

| yeah i never liked K-mart... never liked his play or attitude... it gets annoying.
but he hurts the nuggets in some ways [stupid shots and fouls]
and helps them in some ways [rebounds, toughness]
