| be creative and its hypothetical and stole from Harris>Kidd on YA somewhat
how would the NBA be today had the Hornets kept Kobe and never traded him
and how would the Hornets do with Kobe back in the late 1990s/early 2000s

| It would be a lot different because Kobe wouldn't be nearly as good since he wouldn't have Shaq to help him improve. | |

| I honestly do not think Kobe would be as good, since shaq helped him develop into a champion.
I believe that kobe would still be good though.
Since Kobe would be good, the Hornets would (most likely) not have gotten the 3rd pick in the 1999 NBA draft, therefore leaving baron davis to be chosen by the wizards or cavs (IMO)

| Oh yeah, 1 more thing. If Baron Davis was chosen by the cavs, they probably wouldn't have gotten the 1st pick in the 2003 nba draft, therefore (same draft order, prediction)
Pistons would get LeBron James Nuggets would get Melo Raptors would get CB4 Heat would get D wade

| Im wondering if the Hornets would've still moved to New Orleans if they still had Kobe too, meaning the Bobcats wouldn't exist and would be somewhere else and named something else | |

How about what would happen if Kobe went to Duke?

| Duke wouldn't have won a national title if Iverson had stayed at Georgetown. At that point Iverson was a far better player than Kobe.
Only reason Iverson's freshman year didn't go past the Elite 8 was because UMass was such a beastly team. They murdered Georgetown and everybody else until they got stuck against Kentucky.

| You gotta remember Duke wasn't good at this point. The Big East was way better than the ACC at this point.
Case in point, Duke got blown out by Providence in 1997 (Kobe's freshman year), and they were a 10 seed from the Big East, lol.

Arizona with their Mike Bibby,Jason Terry, and Miles Simon trio would have been no contest against Duke(who they would've had to go through to get to the FInal Four)

| Arizona absolutely did not deserve to be in the final four that year, they were beaten by Providence. The way that game was officiated was far worse than the 2002 WCF Game 6. Arizona spent the entire 2nd half at the free throw line and still were barely able to win in OT. They weren't real fouls either, just stupid touch fouls or there was nothing at all.
Arizona was out rebounded, committed too many turnovers, and were outplayed. The refs just bailed them out for TV ratings, it was complete bullshit.

Well who knows, maybe Kobe could have requested a trade to the Celtics if the Hornets didn't improve, or the Sixers

I wouldnt mind New Orleans bandwagon. Its pretty bad when "Refs Do My Work" represents your fanbase.
maybe less people would hate Kobe if he was in NO too

| Well the Hornets would probably still be in Charlotte, because Kobe would have kept the fanbase coming during their down years. | |
