Who is the best center in the NBA of All Time

Bill Russel-he is the best defender in the NBA All Time,the best shot blosker and he has the best acomplshments in the NBA All Time.He is 11 time NBA Champion and 5 time MVP.

I think it's Russell because of these reasons

He mastered the fundamentals,first good big man passer,was great rebounder because of his position and good boxing out,great shot blocker,he had great timing,greta man to man and post defender,good scorer and etc

The 2 things that hurt Russell's legacy are for the league not counting shot blocks and not having DPOYs.If they had Bill would be the all time leader in total blocks,BPG,most DPOYs won with 8-10.......

He's simply the best defensive player,best shot blocker and biggest winner that the league has seen

He wasn't the best offensive center but having 15 PPG is more then solid scoring perfomance.He was a natural winner.11/13 in the Finals,maybe in 10 team league but if he played now he would win 6-9 rings.His perfomance in teh 7th games he played are 7-0.Plus his game and stats went way up while playing playoff games

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Had incredible stats for his career in eras where there were actually TALL centers. Also had the most unblockable shot in NBA history in the sky hook.

I'd have to go w/Kareem.

Yeah, Chamberlain and Russell were overrated imo. Russell was a great defensive player but it's not a hard task to win 11 rings with 10 teams in the league. Chamberlain was a great offensive player but there was no 3 second rule and at the time he was the tallest player in the game so his defenders had an incredible disadvantage.
