NY Knicks 78 1st half points against TOR baby!!!!

Anywho do you think this is the nail on Jay Triano's coffin? Reggie Theus was fired by the Kings a couple of years back immediately after NY beat them badly. But this is insane. Do you think Triano's days are numbered and won't even finish off the season?

I know CBI that it's the Raps. But still any smart owner/GM would pull the trigger and terminate the coach if a team is that bad and get beat so severely. When NY lost 104-59 a couple of years back to BOS we didn't fire Isiah Thomas cause well Dolan isn't a smart owner/GM and was apathetic to everything really.

This is why the Toronto Raptors players should get some no defense love...

The fact that Toronto gave up 78 points in the 1st half isn't a reflection on their defense. The Knicks play an offensive system that jacks up shots anytime there's an open look and today they had a good day. The score was more of a reflection on the Knicks' offense. The Wizards and Cavs would give up 85 points to the Knicks given how bad we play and how hot they were.

I also would like the Wizards to play this type of offense to exploit Wall's strengths.

The score was 78-54 in the first half, 131-118 for the final game. So it's not like the Knicks were lockdown defenders, since the Dinos got a decent FG%Age as it is.

Unfortunately, as long as BC has a job; then so does Jay Triano.

He'll prolly end up keeping his job because BC will make excuses that the roster was plagued with "injuries" (coughBargnaniJosecough) and that they were not expected to do well this season because they just lost Bosh this past summer.

Gotta say though; Triano is one lucky dude.
If it was any other team, he prolly would have been fired by now.
BC is a dummie so I will not be surprised if Triano sticks around for another season.

I like Triano. And I don't just say that to differ. I truly think his offense is one of the premier ones there are in the NBA. He just doesn't have a team to coach and Derozen needs to buy in or sell out.
