Knicks Win Knicks Win (Just beat the Hornets)

That's 3 straight wins against the Hornets (we swept them last year) & have 1 more to go to continue a 2 year sweep. David Lee & Chris Duhon were oh so good and Al Harrington and Larry Hughes chipped in very, very, very nicely. Gallinari struggled with his shot for the first time this season, but he had 5 assists showing his nice passing game and hit key momentum free throws whenever it was needed. Whatever happened to the Knicks won't beat the Hornets that all the haters told me it won't happen? Well it did , so there.

Hornets suck guaranteed they miss the playoffs. I was unimpressed all night long with them. Knicks should have had them earlier on from the getgo and at times played nice defense on them, but then for a couple of stints in the game NY reverted back to their old defensive selves and let the Hornets climb back in from time to time. But, throughout the game Knicks had the momentum in their favor. Knicks scored 40 points in the 4th quarter alone. I like having Nate Robinson out we are so much better and there are far less turnovers without him. Not to mention when Hughes is shooting well he is a tough offensive player to contain. And even if he isn't he is a very good defender at least he has that.

The Hornets have problems, def.

Emeka Okafor is so much better than Tyson Chandler it's scary, but he isn't that reliant on the lobs and the Hornets d has been reliant on a system of lobs with CP3 and Chandler for years. Chandler wasn't all that good, but the team's bread & butter was that and Okafor individualistically is much better than Chandler, but in the team concept he just doesn't fit in all that well. Also Peja is looking slower and slower. He can't get open at the 3 as quick anymore and being that he could never create off the dribble always being a spot up shooter. Makes the Hornets offensively vulnerable. They need help, CP3 needs help!!

I agree with that Tony. The Hornets may end up being a better team, but its going to take a while before they gel as well as they once did. Dumping Rasul Butler this offseason was definitely a bad move, as he is a very reliable athletic shooter on the wing, whereas Peja is now just an overpaid role player (maybe not even that).

This is a wake up call for the Hornets franchise - do something about that crappy bench!!!

Knicks show tougness there.Great win for them and Mike D'Antony's system is having effect in the Knicks which is fine for the team.Nice job
