Bro- Who we play tonight?

Me- Utah.

Bro- nice. You know one of my friends says he knows AK47 cuz they play online games together? lol

Me- Bullshit. He's probably lying haha

Bro- maybe. I should ask him to text AK for tickets hahaaa

Me- go for it haha

Bro- HOLY SHIT! he said AK told him that he'll have 2 tickets waiting for us at the UC

Me- He's probably fucking with you... so we can go and he'll just be like "HAHA I can't believe you went"

Bro- well... free tickets.. lets just go see if they're there.

actually one of my least favorite players now. haha

After the game was over on the ride back, I obviously believed that my brother's friend knew AK...so I was asking my bro questions like "does AK every talk about basketball with your friend and what does he say about it?"

just stuff like that. And my brother told me that AK said something like this when he was talking to few people online about work: "I don't really like my job. But if you guys were making millions you would still do your job too."

after hearing that I thought about how lazy/not passionate he looked while playing...

and I don't like players that just sign their big contracts and just kinda half ass it.


But I do hope he plays somewhere in the East next year... maybe he'll be coming to Chicago twice hahaha

I bet 60% of the NBA doesn't "Like" there job...its a good paycheck tho.

I'm pretty sure most players love their job.

If you don't make the playoffs, you get like 5 months off... then during the season all they do is practice and play games for their job.

if they didn't love basketball, they just wouldn't be in the NBA.

Not true. Shaq HAD to be a basketball player. He was like 6'8 at age 13. Thats why a lot of big guys don't live to there potential, when your over 6'6, you need to be on a basketball court.

there's a bunch of tall people that don't play basketball... there's no law that states you HAVE to play basketball if you're tall.

I actually know 5 guys who are over 6'6 and none of them play basketball currently. They did in HS, but quit. Why? they didn't like it.

and Shaq loves basketball. If he didn't, he wouldn't be playing right now.

well I said 60%..my dads 6'7 and quit in highschool too..But I mean odds are if your that tall you feel obligated to play basketball. I somewhat like playing football..but i'd rather do something more with politics..but the size+height just scream lineman..people I dont even know just ask me "where you play?" so i feel pretty obligated..i know tall people feel the same way because my brother is 6'6 and people always making basketball comments.

when you're young, your size and height would make you feel like you should be playing sports. maybe your parents are telling you to or people at school..

but Those who aren't good at it just won't make it to the pros. The rest who are good at it have a choice... either work hard and make it to the pros or just stop playing when you don't feel like playing anymore. The ones who love playing it are the ones who usually work hard so they can make it to the pros.

the players who don't really love the game are the players who get their money and stop trying to get better.

that would mean that like 8 players on each team don't like what they do.

Because when I join the NBA, I expect a full career in the liberal arts!
