| http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=4hg38ow Yessir, Raptors Supremacy. Yeah, so Would this trade make Toronto better, since we need a more defined PG. Lou could do the job and we give them Kleiza who could be good for them. Ok not really the best trade for Philly but how would Toronto play once acquiring Lou Williams? Would he fit in with Toronto. | |

The only thing I see that could help Toronto with this trade is the 6.6million dollars that come off the books next season, if the trade is a success. Otherwise, they're virtually where they started, but this time instead of a pass-first Guard [Calderon] they get a score-first Guard [Williams].

| It helps the Raptors in terms of filling their need of more scorers. I mean, don't expect Lou will make 7 assists a game. He will set up but look for his points. Moving on, Kleiza is versatile and can if needed come of the bench...
Philly will not benefit from this trade at all. They have Jrue Holiday, who's averaging 14/8 and they don't need Jose

| Its okay on both sides
Kleiza has been solid all year and Calderon is having a great year
I think it would slightly benefit Toronto as they get more minutes for Davis and Johnson and they get a more shoot first player. I think it benefits Philly more though as they are getting a passer they desperately need and a big body down low with Kleiza.
Still I wouldnt put too much stock into Lou Williams IMO, so I think the Raps should get more for Calderon. And as for Kapono, I dont have to tell u how he is gonna play :/

| Bad trade for all IMO
From TOR's point of view: They get a shoot first tweener guard (no defense) which is something they don't need at all right now. Even with Calderon, sometimes they don't have enough ball movement.
From PHI's trade: Its even worse for them. They don't need Calderon's terrible contract plus they also don't need even more passers. They already has Jrue Holiday who is playing well, and both Iggy and Turner are very passive when it comes to shooting as they look to pass more than they should. And Kleiza would just be a bad contract for Philly who have more than enough of that (Brand, and Iggy which is not THAT bad)

| I also think this trade is quite useless.
The only benefit to the Raptors is that they get rid of Jose's atrocious contract. Aside from that, why re-aquire Kapono if he was not effective for the Raps (except for a few occasions) in the first place. If he were to come back, he'd be older and even less effective I think.
As well, last thing the Raps need is ANOTHER score first PG. That is Bayless' specilalty (which is problematic already).
Meanwhile, Philly gets an injury-prone, inconsistent PG. and Kleiza is out for a long time with an injury so when he comes back, will he be the same?
