| Josh Smith is a beast defensively, and he has the biggest chance in my opinion. Everybody will be sucking Lebron's cock on his chasedown blocks and completely ignore his perimeter defense so he'll unfortunately be in the top 3 or top 5...
But probably Dwight Howard still.

| Josh Smith Rondo(depending on if boston is best defensive team in nba) Wade and lebron will get consideration but I don't think either will or should get one Dwight doesn't have much competition  | |

| Duncan has kinda lost a step on the defense end.
His defense is still good but sad to say, its declined a little this past season.
Plus, even if Duncan played solid defense...no one would care cause the media is too fixated on licking Lebron/Kobe anyway...kinda the same for Battier as well.
I have a gross feeling that Lebron is gonna win it for some reason though...

| Well, he has never been dominant in Defense as he was in Offense. And when there are guys like Ben Wallace, Alonzo and Moutombo who focus so much in D it's pretty difficult. Not to mention KG didn't get too till he made Boston the best defensive team in the league(along with Tim and Doc). | |
