Did you notice this difference between the NBA and NFL?

In the NBA all of the small market teams struggle for long periods of time. [Cavs, pacers, t-wolves, grizzlies, raptors, etc.]

The only time those teams have had success was when they drafted a high profile player. [Reggie, LBJ, KG, Bosh, Gasol]

But then all of those players will eventually leave the team, and that will leave the franchise in trouble again.

In the NFL, small market teams like the Vikings, Titans, cheifs, Jaguars etc. have had great teams in the past, and they had players that wanted to play for them.

Why do you think that is?

NBA is more of an individual sport, while football is basically a team sport. THe best player wants to leave so he can get the best endorsments in the NBA, while NFL the endorsemnts are gonna come no matter what.j

The NBA is all about marketing a star player, or players. Why do you think people hate it when the Pistons or Spurs go to the Finals? Its because no one on those teams are interesting......lol you cant market Tim Duncan


In the NFL its all about the team, because guys wear helmets, and aren't as noticeable as...and NBA player...name one NFL player that is known world wide like Kobe,Lebron etc.

Its all about marketing.and thats why the NFL can succeed in literal any city in America...and Memphis cant fill 10,000 fills......even a bad NFL team will sell out games (Browns Raiders)

We wont see Amare saying "Im really interested in playing with the thunder." because OKC is a small market team. But if he did go there they would have, KD, RW, JG, JH, and amare. SICK TEAM.
