Lakers vs Celtics Thread

ive looked alot of places for this thread because in this rivarly theres all ways a good argement and i want to argue..

so witch team:
Had The Better players
Witch was the more winning franchice etc.

there picking garnett over shaq..

You can make an argument for either player but my point is that they wouldn't be matching up against each other....

And as I said...KG shouldn't even be on the all-celtics team

Celtics are the better franchise..The history is so deep! Other than showtime lakers have other history but its rinky-dink...

They have Visa,in the 00's with 5 titles,little in the 70's with a title and in the 50's with again 5 titles...

Celtics on the other hand have won in less attempts,3 in the 50's,8 in the 60's,2 in the 70's,3 in the 80's and 1 in the 00's

Celtics were stopped by bad luck to create a contender as Len Bias who was the next big thing died and some guy Reggie (not sure about the last name,i think it was Williams) died from heart attack

That is totally undermining the players who actually played for a while with the Celtics...

I think that the Celtics are better about the championships cause they have 9-3 vs the Lakers and about the total championships Lakers will have more in the next 5 years.

I wanna heat up this debate again...

1.Lakers have the better team...a 5 on 5 match lakers would dominate...and im not being bs..front court like kareem,shaq would kill and than kobe at sg with some go pg...

2.Lakers again they have the edge on evrything but the champoinship witch they can tie next year and it seems likley that they will...

next year lakers will be a better team..the celtics are deep but they are old but rondo willl be bbeast..but i do think celtics can make the finals...
