If Phil Jackson does decide to go to CLE instead of retiring or staying in L.A. a bit more

I think it should only be done if King James leaves the franchise. It would put Phil Jackson in a position he's never been before and that is being the coach of a team without a future Hall of Famer on board. A lot of people are torn between whether or not CLE can maintain itself as a playoff team w/o King James & again Phil has never been in that position where a playoff appearance is unknown before the regular season hits. I think it would only strengthen his legacy if he is part of CLE overachieving if they do reach the playoffs.

I mean with Shaq & Big Z's contracts going off the books CLE wouldn't be in that bad of a position if they can land a second tier FA talent if King James does leave. Then they should get a young C to replace Shaq & Big Z. Make it Jamison's team & who knows.

Ha! At 65 and carrying 11 rings. I don't thing he needs to prove anything, especially with his heath being a factor. He'd get a stroke with coaching that type of team.
