| Draft trades happen all the time. The Nets had the worst record and got the #3 pick but I think they could at least have the Wizards listening if this was a trade they offered
Nets Get: #1 pick in the Draft
Wizards Get: #3 pick in the Draft #27 pick in the Draft PG Devin Harris
The Wizards would still get a top 3 pick, another 1st rd pick, and an All-Star PG.
I don't know if this would ever happen but what do you think of the proposal?

| No.
Why would the Wizards give up John Wall to get an older more expensive (as well as true and smaller) point guard when they already have Gilbert Arenas. John Wall and Arenas are not an overly undersized back court, but Harris and Arenas just looks terrible on paper. Not only do they then have nearly $30 million invested into the point guard spot, but they also go out and get another big man that's going to take a while to develop. They're already waiting on Andray Blatche and JaVale McGee. They don't really need another. While it would be nice to get Harris and an extra pick, the team is in a rebuilding mode, and already has the best pick possible when it comes to rebuilding. I don't think the drop from Wall to Derrick Favors is worth taking for a late first rounder and Harris. The Wizards don't want or need Harris, but they do need to draft John Wall.

| This would be a great move for the wizards. As flip said today, basically that we don't need the pick and we need to solify the center position...take monroe at 3 AND get a bonafide PG | |

| The only way the Nets can improve is trade everybody on the roster except for Brook Lopez for the top 12 picks in the draft. | |

| So they can post up every team and go 80-2!
The 2 being against the Nuggets

| That would never happen. Even a Cavs and Anti-Wizards fan would say that the Wizards should keep the 1st pick. If the 1st pick doesn't end up in Washington, the only way that happens is AFTER the draft, not before.
The only Wizard who would want this trade is Gilbert Arenas because the #3 pick gives him job security as this would force the Wizards to pick up Cousins or whoever is left. Still solid players, but not a breathtaking John Wall type or Evan Turner type.

| It is awful for the Nets, sorry. No.3 pick is not that bad... and you are technically giving up and all-star pg a (maybe) future all-star and another player just for the right to get a #1 pick. But if the Nets want that pick so badly... I don't think the Wizards would say no to such a good offer for them... |

| Oklahoma sucked last year and they weren't with half as much of the injuries that the nets had this season, nobody ever thought of kevin durant and the thunder before the season
They have a better core in Harris and Lopez and alot of scoring options with their slashers in CDR and TWill who showed to be a good all round player once he got useful minutes... Like I said they need to beef up their defense both on the perimeter and in the paint.
If they play together they can turn the franchise right around Especially in the EC it's not impossible to make the playoffs
And yeah thanks for the correction LOL

We're talking about young up and coming teams not a team that had three FORMER allstars that were either washed up (Butler) returning from injury after missing over a years worth of ball (Arenas) and a player that's not his young self and is just too old to keep consistent as we saw in the playoffs against the celts (Jamison)

And yeah thanks for the correction LOL OKC had Kevin Durant who has always been better than Devin Harris from day 1. Brook Lopez seems to be what he is: A solid starting center, nothing more and nothing else. But Thunder had a great talent in Westbrook who has now blossomed into a top PG. The Thunder are loaded with talent and potential....but the Nets have Harris/Lopez...thats it. Too early to say anything about Terrence Williams.

| CDR proved himself to be an offensive threat before being Ill, Like I said TWill proved he has a great overall game once he had minutes, Harris has the ability to be one of the top5 pgs, and a solid sidekick to who I believe will blossom into one of the premier Bigmen in the league | |
