IF Tony Parker gets traded...

who is most likely to trade for him?

I think it could be the knicks....

I havent heard anything about him being shopped or the possibility of him being traded, but I guess it makes sense.

I guess the Knicks make sense. Maybe a team with a really old PG. (cant think of any teams besides the Suns and Mavs... who with dragic and beabouis + being rivals isnt happening)

there has been a few rumors of the Spurs wanting o trade Parker this summer.. Probably because of how well George Hill has been playing. The Spurs can't really keep both of them. Eventually Hill is going to want a lot of playing time and that could be a problem with Parker.

Bobcats could be a good team for TP to be on.. but yeah, it depends on what they do with Felton and DJ.

If the Spurs trade Parker to the Knicks, who could we even get in return.

I don't see any players on that roster that could help out with the Spurs current weaknesses.

They would be dumb as hell to trade Parker...

I mean...sure he had a little bit of a down year..
But didn't he carry the entire team during the regular season a year ago?

But if he is on the market....there should be several teams interested...
I mean...you don't pass on a player with Parker's caliber...

Hey, that's just what I heard.. I heard it a few weeks ago, and then again after the Mavs series because of how well Hill has been playing.

I don't think they should trade him.. but I was asking which team would be interested in parker if he is available and/or which team would be the best fit

True that...but I would not want Theo Ratliff back since we just traded him to Charlotte and when he had him...he was rotting away on the bench.

Wishful thinking but that would be sweet if we get G-Force or Captain Jack haha.

But we really need size...Blair is good but undersized and Mahinmi (or however the hell you spell his name) still needs more time to develop. McDyess is ok but he is kinda inconsistent at times.

thats a trade I came up with... it gives the spurs a nice back-up PG, a SG Pop could develop.. he is also a great shooter.. and Diop. he's not great.. but he is big and another player that could be good under pop.

Those players that the Spurs would get don't sound like great acquisitions but as you mentioned, Pop is very good at developing players so they could end up fitting in well with the Spurs. Though, if that trade were to really happen...Jefferson would definitely need to be traded lol.

Parker is a huge uprade at PG for the kings.. but Beno is still very good
and Thompson is a big guy the spurs could use.

but yeah.. jefferson would still need to go haha

That is if he can still play. Don't expect much rebounding or defense from Cheeseburger though. If not hold him for the year cause he's unlikely to opt out this summer and SA can free up a lot of cap space once he leaves in the summer of 2011.

Al Harrington is a FA.

Maybe the Knicks trade Al Harrington as part of a deal for Tony Parker.

Al Harrington gives size and shooting and could fit the Spurs style of ball

But does he play any defense whatsoever?
Not from what I have seen from him...so I dunno.
and can he play centre?

Harrington plays defense sporadically and the verdict hasn't been reached if NY decides to keep him or not. They aren't gonna trade him they're going to wait for July 1st so that NY relinquishes their bird rights to him and he becomes a FA and the discussion process would begin or not begin.
