Will they end up losing to Orlando? Or could Charlotte own them in the first 2 rounds? Could they reach the finals and lose for some western team? Could they WIN IT ALL? haha

| True, luck isn't the main factor. But I think there were chances the champions could have lost in the playoffs.
Anyway, for example, if Dwight, Gerald Wallace, or Melo get hurt (not that I wish people get hurt lol but if it happened), OR somehow they get OKC or Spurs in the finals, I would consider it LUCK for the cavs. Yes they need to capitalize on it, but it's still a little luck haha

based on what? Based on what Cavs can win it all? I just wanted his opinion on why we 'don't have it in us'. If Shaq can stay healthy and we have everyone on the court we can definitely go all the way. I'll tell you why, Max: one man can lead his team to the Finals, but it's almost IMPOSSIBLE to win it if you're dependent on one player. Look at the past championship winners from this past decade: 2000-2002: Lakers win it. Shaq/Kobe combo unstoppable duo. 2003: San Antonio wins it. Big 3 main cause. 2004: Detroit wins it because of the chemistry between Billups, Sheed, Prince, and Hamilton. 2005: San Antonio wins again, because of TD, Ginobli, and Parker. 2006: Miami wins, largely in part because of Wade/Shaq duo. 2007: San Antonio wins again, same reason. 2008: Celtics win because of Big 3 and great defense. 2009: Lakers win because of balanced attack and great bench play. The Cavs have LeBron...who else? Antawn Jamison? Mo Williams? Shaq? Jamison is a great player, but he's a different man in the playoffs. In fact, completely different seeing that he's never been in the WCF/ECF and above. Mo Williams almost didn't exist in the playoffs last year, excluding the Pistons series. Shaq should be benched. Washed up, old, etc. The Cavs bench is alright, but Varejao is the only legitimate guy who can cause problems for the other team. It just doesn't add up. Orlando to me is a better player because they have everything you could want: A dominant inside prescense, proven vets off the bench, great wing defenders, great 3 point shooters, an emotional coach who cares about the team, and a pass-first PG who can shoot also. The Cavs have great defenders and 3-point shooters, but they are missing 3 EXTREMELY important things: a dominant inside presence, proven vets off the bench, and most importantly, an emotional coach who cares about the team. No discredit to Mike Brown, he's a nice guy, but any dumbshit could realise that he doesn't do much to help this team except play LeBron.

| True Playoff Cavs line up:
PG: Lebron / West / Gibson SG: Anthony Parker / Mo Williams SF: Jamison / Moon PF: Hickson / Varejao C: Shaq / Ilgauskas
Yep LeBron a PG and Mo Williams a SG form bench with good minutes.

| I just want to say from statistic point of view, teams owning the best record or have the MVP does not make it to the final or win the finals more than 50% of the time, so | |

| 2010:Cavs win it because LeBron and the rest of the team.Shaq gives his best and becomes the first player from the current to win 5 rings,Jamison comes up huge with his shots, the bench production on the both ends is good and LeBron finishes with couple triple doubles,Finals MVP and 1 championship ring of the many he will have in his career.Period.. | |
