PostSubject: My words to Martin.   My words to Martin. - Page 4 EmptyThu Feb 18, 2010 8:53 pm

First topic message reminder :

Martin found out he was gonna get traded during halftime, so he didnt play in the second half. I'm still gonna be the #1 Kevin Martin fan. Everytime we trade a player and they go on to another team, they always become stars. Well most likely. And I know that Martin will be great in the Rockets. I'm telling you... #1 rockets fan, watch out. He's not gonna be sucky, he never was anyway. Sactown was crazy about him, we did a huggee rally for him after he signed the contract. Every Kings fan will still love Martin, no matter where he ends up. It is a very very very sad day but you know whatever happened...happened. Just accept it. Rockets fans: I know you will love him. I know it, just trust me. Im still and always will be the best Kevin martin fan everrr. Thank you Martin for being a King and being so amazing. I'm gonna start watching the Rockets now.

Message to #1 Rockets fan:
I know you miss Landry but Martin will be amazing with the Rockets. I'm still the #1 martin fan and just make sure no one takes my place Smile. If you see him tell him Sacto still loves you Very Happy

Your question might be...who will be my favorite player on the sacramento Kings?

Everyone on the Kings are my fave but if you forced me to choose one. It would be Cisco. Smile

Still and always #1 Martin fan. Sorry for the errors

All Houston really needs now is Yao back and some type of veteran leadership. Martin will see a heavy decrease in ppg, but he should still be relevant to Houston's production.

He actually would have. We gave him less time. If you're talking about team chemistry, any player (yes, any player) can get a long with any team. If Martin was never injured, there would actually be no trade talks right now. stupid injury

it wasn't really a chemistry thing. he didn't play any defense, and the kings aren't a great defensive team. they need solid defense from all around the floor. also, he didn't really know what his role was when he returned. he wasn't even helping them offensively anymore.

I think Martin was more expendable when it was evident that Tyreke was a much better guard than we expected. Casspi and Thompson are also solid players, and having Landry gives them a good low post presence for the high energy though undersided at the 4. Kings still got a good deal for the trade though they lost their franchise player.

Yes yes yes yes

And you got D-Mac from us who may grab some boards when Landry fails to, which is because of his undersized height... lol

Agree with the quote above, but I won't say that Sacramento sucked more with Marting than without. Tyreke's play spelled the Chapter 11 Bankruptcy of the Sacramento K-Mart.

(Yes, that's a pretty complicated pun) Props to anyone who gets it.
