Tyreke Evans sued over shooting

And rookies don't get paid a lot. So, I feel sorry for him.

He's getting paid in millions....chill with him not being paid alot...

And he's getting sued because the murder happened in his car...

Wow! What the hell? He's gettin sued because the murder was in his car?

lol 50k is Nothing compared to the Salary he gets. For the suing though, it's reasonable cuz it was Tyreke's car.

A murder happens in your house and you aren't involved? A few opposing people accidentally blunder into it, kill someone, and leave without any potential involvement or knowledge from you whatsoever? No way. Not happening.

On a side note, how many of these court cases do you think would happen if the loser had to pay all the court costs? I wish we'd steal other countries' ideas more often...

First, with money. He's paid at least a million dollars this season after taxes, and that's before shoe contracts and other local advertising deals he gets with the Sacramento area.

Second, he drove a car where a passenger killed someone so that alone makes him an accomplice in a murder of a person even if Tyreke never though that it would happen. First Gilbert has unloaded guns as comedy props. Now Tyreke helped someone, even if unintentionally, kill another person from the past since he drove off from the scene. I know he cooperated with the police, but still, he drove the car that did the ambush and he drove the same car away, and if Tyreke didn't get charged for it, well, that's what civil lawsuits are for. Since the threshhold of liability is much less in the civil realm of courts when a default judgment is given in a trial, rather than the "beyond a reasonable doubt" premised used to convict someone of a crime, Evans' lawyers are probably going to settle this with the family. Assuming Tyreke Evans and the other three guys get a default judgment against them in court after a trial, the 50 or so thousand isn't that unreasonable at all when you ask me. First a third goes to the attorney. Of the remaining third, it would go toward paying the funeral costs, his last debts and it would not even come close to helping cover some of the income he brought to the kitchen table.. They could be asking for a bit more if you ask me.

Koolish, you don't just let random people with guns in your car and let them shoot people in it. If somebody shoots somebody from YOUR car, it's pretty suspicious...
