Who is the best defensive C in the NBA All Time?

I think Bill Russel.Someone says that he had about 7 blks per game and that is amazing.He was amazing blocker,good one on one defender,great rebounder too.Everything in defense without steals.He could score too.

The best defensvie center in the NBA's History is Bill Russell.He was the greatest shot blocker because he mastered 3 things to block shots
-excellent timing
-not fouling the offensive player
-blocked it for himself to get it or his team mates......
He's one of the best rebounders in the NBA of All Time because he could box out/get good poisition inside and was really good at grabbing cluth boards.He's #2 in rebounding in the regular season but #1 in the playoffs........plus Russell thanks to his defense/rebounding created lots of fast brakes for his team.He's a beast,in his prime he could he easily averged 25 RPG and 8 BPG.If the league had DPOYs and block shot Russell would have been the leader in it.I think that Russell is the greatest defender in basketball's history

#2 Nate Thurmond-Beast at defense,in his prime he could block more shots then Hakeem!He's the most skilled rebounder of all time and was good at playing defense,man to man and on the post..

#3 Arts Gilmore-Dominating rebounder/blocker,mastered defending the post and he was really great man to man defender.He had elements of all the things you need him,his total rebounds and block shots with ABA/NBA rank #5 and #4 on the all time lists.He's a defensive beast!

#4 Hakeem Olajuown-Has the elements to be here for sure....great defender

#5 Dikembe Mutombo-He's the all time leader in most DPOYs won with 4.He's a total beast because he was the most dominating shot blocker and he was great rebounder.He could defend down at the post really good and defend his man great.

-Kareem Abdul Abbar:The most under-rated defensive center because of his offense.Although he was great offensive,his defense was great because he's one of the best rebounders of all time and sick shot blocker because he also did a nice job of blocking style like Russ but way to overlooked.....he's a beast

No way Russell was anywhere near better. Oden is 20x as strong, athletic, offensive, defensive, and 20x the player Russell ever was

All time there isn't possibility because Russell was the greatest at it.Before his pre season he trained him but he got injured so in his sophmore year we have seen Oden's greatness at defense

And we can conclude from his game that Russ was 10x time better
