And yes; there is still plenty of time left in the regular season. Therefore, the Nuggets can always pull it up. In addition, during the post-season, some teams become transformed because of that extra pressure to make it to the finals and hopefully, win the championship. I consider them a championship caliber team...there is a reason why they are among one of the top teams in the league. It's the NBA; you never know what can happen.

I think their vulnerable right now, but it's only the first half of the season.

Billups is injured, so it dosen't really show any weaknesses without their second top scorer and team leader... the western conf. is very hard and i dont see the nuggets making it pass the second round unless they play a bad team... just think about

Lakers, Suns, Spurs etc. etc. but you never know they could maybe even make it to the western finals again... & lose to the magic

Q: Not really. As everyone has pretty much said, a Nuggets team without Billups isn't going to be as competitive as if they had him. And while some of the losses have come with Billups, that's like asking if the Celtics' weaknesses were revealed when they lost at home to Philly. These things happen.

As for championship contender, eh...I said this in another thread, but I just don't see the Nuggets in the Finals. On paper they look pretty legit, but there's something they're missing, but I'm not entirely sure what.
