Who agrees that the NJ Nets should trade Rafer Alston to the PHX Suns?

He is way too good of a starting PG/role player to be forced to play into a situation that he is in. He is a vet leader that played a huge part in why the Magic made it to the NBA Finals a season ago in the 1st place. And he shouldn't wither away in his last years on a rebuilding team full of young talent that a team is trying to build. Nor should the Nets keep him cause he contradicts what they are trying to do. Alston should go to a vet team/contender that is in need of his services and PHX makes sense to me.

PHX is back to the run n gun system & it's paying dividence as they look to be on the verge of the team they once were. However, their bench is pretty thin. Alston would give them another vet player that has been a part of long postseason battles. He would also give the bench a PG that can run the offense and take pressure off of Nash giving him more room to rest up. In turn Alston's presence would move Barbosa more towards his natural ability to score rather than trying to make him something that he isn't a facilitator. And Dragic would be moved to where he should be a work in progress rather than being a part of the rotation for a consistant basis. Alston also gives a team desperate for defensive tenacity a PG that is a fairly good defender and it gives them someone who can hit the 3.

Trade Rafer Alston to PHX for a pair of sporadically used youngsters in PHX.

Why would the Nets do that?

It doesnt make that much sense for either teams

NJN are one of those "2010" teams so they will kepp rafers contract
And PHX has no use for him with nash

Yeah I don't know how or why this would happen. i think the Nets like haveing Alston as their backup PG and the Suns actually like how Dragic is coming along. He is playing 16 MPG this year and is averaging 7 PPG and 2 APG while shooting 44% from the field. He as improved a lot since last year and Idk why they would wanna cut down on his minutes even more. That wouldn't help him at all. You need more playing time if you wanna get better.
